Every time we pray the Rosary lets also include the intention that another person will receive the grace to start praying the Rosary. If everyone did this every time they prayed the Rosary imagine what the results might be. 😊
I love this because in one of the 15 Promises of those who pray the rosary is that, Advocates of the Rosary will have the prayers of the entire Celestial court as their support throughout life and at death.

May your dear friend enter heaven shortly! The Holy Rosary is very powerful, especially praying for the Holy Souls in Purgatory and the conversion of sinners and the repentance of the lost. I have had numerous rosaries that fell apart while I was praying the Holy Rosary. Now, I have a true metal battle, Rosary. I place in my blue quiever pouch with a crucifix, green scapular, and miraculous medals of the Virgin Mary on the zippers! I carry my quiever pouch everywhere I go. Also, we must pray the prayer of St Gertrude the Great for the Holy Souls during Mass, especially after the consecration of the Eucharist. I had a dream vision during Mass when I saw a vast multitude of souls in sea of flames pleading me to pray for them. At first, I thought it was a vision of hell, but I shortly realized it was the Holy Souls in Purgatory. After, I received Holy Communion, a friend placed a card of St Gertrude the Great with her prayer for the Holy Souls on my seat! Also, at another mass, I had a dream vision of many Souls assending into heaven after the concentration of the Eucharist!
My son gave me that book 3 years ago for Christmas! It is absolutely amazing, I treasure it and go back to it every know and then! I pray for the holy souls every day! 🙏👍🏼❤️

November 1st and one octave from this date we can pull each day one poor Soul from Purgaratory to Heaven fullfilling the standard requiremmets of the Church...we try this every Year :).. everybody should..
Please have Gregorian masses said for their soul. 30 masses said in a row will free the soul from Purgatory. Also pray the Divine Mercy Chaplet even if the person has died years ago that prayer can still be applied to their particular judgment. God is outside of time. Jesus can use prayers that you pray now to apply to that person's particular judgment. Please be sure to get those masses said; those are vital.
I always ask them to pray as many are there a long time offering up their prayers and sufferings. I'd imagine they certainly can. They just can't pray for themselves

These souls pray very fervently, but to no avail for themselves, only we can come to their aid. The flames that burned them did not touch me. My Guardian Angel never left my side even for a moment. And I asked these souls what their greatest suffering was? And they answered me unanimously that the greatest suffering for them is the longing for God". ( Diary, 20 ). The Holy Souls in purgatory cannot pray for themselves but they can pray for us , they intercede for us and they need our prayers for them. We shoild also pray for the dying people. Lord Jesus said to St. Sister Faustina Kowalska : " Pray as much as you can for the dying, ask them to trust in My mercy, because they need trust the most and have it the least. Know that the grace of eternal salvation of some souls at the last moment depended on your prayer.". ( Diary, 1777 ).

It strikes me odd that this woman is so acclaimed and apparently approved by the Catholic Church ---- however, when the Blessed Mother has been appearing in Medjugorje for over 40 years and the Church has not approved the apparitions yet. That's the Mother of God. I think I'll place my trust in the Blessed Mother and adhere to what she has to say. I'm sure this woman was a very good person and meant well. But too much authority is being placed on what she said and it's distracting ---- and that is not a good sign.

Know that all time, past, present, and future is NOW to God. Hence, if someone passed away, even from suicide, you can still pray for their salvation with prays, especially with masses offered up for them. God can take present prayers/Mass and apply it to that soul at his death and judgment. Isn't God's mercy awesome!

I have always heard that souls in purgatory can not pray?
@danijelmatkovic7201 they can't (we think) until they've gotten to heaven. They may be allowed to pray for us though. We're not sure.
