Thanks for putting this together! It's a fascinating tour of a region I know well from the ground. One note: I believe Carver Lake is misidentified - it should be Camp Lake.
Stunning video footage/music. Thanks so much for making it available, Mark! My brother Dale who lives in Redmond has hiked to the top of all 3 Sisters. Me - only the Middle sister, and my son Brian. Made the hike in one afternoon. STILL have a torn meniscus from coming down from the top .... trying to get back to our car BEFORE it got dark. WE HAD NO FLASHLIGHT! Didn't make it. One amazing walk through the dark getting back to our 4 wheels! Once you hit the woods walking back down ... it is dark as the bottom of a mud puddle and you can't see your hand in front of your face, though the stars can shine on a brilliant clear night as they did that night. Here's a video of that trip for anyone interested: ruclips.net/video/_1X9WSfnm2k/видео.html Priceless memory. Age 75 now living in Michigan. Limp a little more every year due to my torn meniscus that the doc says can't be repaired adequately so I live with it.
Thanks so much for your nice comment and your great story. I can only imagine how this video brings back the memories for you. And every time your knee hurts!
Hi Matt, I'm glad you noticed the difference. Google has a new beta program called Earth Studio. It is very very beta, but can be used to make movies using their sat photos, but for some reason it is more photo realistic than straight google earth imaging.
Lovely, thanks. I hiked it 85 miles north to south in '79. A magnificent, unforgettable experience, a cornucopia of volcanic phenomena.
So beautifully done and relaxing music thank you Mark.
You're welcome Mark, so glad you enjoyed it!
Impresionante

Thank you, glad you liked the music too!
It was a beautiful presentation, and one I watch over and over, thank you Mark :)
Jane, I am so glad you enjoyed my presentation and video, thank you!
I've hiked up St. Helens twice to crater dome...would like to hike up North Sister!

@@markdarnell569 Can't sleep, so I'm making sure my computer doesn't get to sleep EITHER! Are you a native from out West?
Great video. Do you do anything special with google earth? Pro version or something? Seems like your footage looks better than when I do it.
