I'd say your wife is a keeper if she's willing to go through all this. Good job "kids". Tall socks/boots are the rule in the bush and perhaps those aren't tick bites but chigger bites. We have them here in TN too.

Believe it might have been a mix of chiggers and no see ums. I always keep my tall socks tucked under pants, cant say the same for amber but those bugs sure love her lol..

Is that tick or skeeters ,? Something sure ate yall up. Poor Amber must be allergic ,. Never seen anyone get blisters from a bug bite like that. How many acres do you have out there? You need Stans tractor and a bush hog .

I believe its a chigger, no see um mix. Oh she sleep scratches is her problem makes a mountain outta a mole hill lol... Its 40 acres and most still undiscovered.
