I would try thicker shock oil to slow down your rebound. As for the width I would op for wider axles instead of hex extensions. Hex extensions will cause you to have scrub steer. You want your knuckle you pivot on the kingpin instead of "swinging" out. For the weight distribution start off at 60/40 and tune from there.
