Metastatic Breast Cancer. Went to my L4 L5, L6, L7, my left rib, and lumbar spine. The pain is horrible. They gave me steroids for pain, it didn't relieve the pain. I had radiation back in 2021, 10 sessions, through the 5th, 6, and 7. This past Christmas, they needed to radiate the 4th, and after an MRI on the 23rd, they found progression in the lumbar spine #6. I'm so confused. Pain meds are not working. Next Monday, one session on that last #6, which they believe is also new progress. I would love to be evaluated and have a consultation in your clinic. I found hope listening to your podcast. I find myself crying most of the time. I need my life back!

Very clear communicator, but I would adjust the TITLE of this video, as it spends less time talking about spinal cord tumors and more about patients’ fear of spinal cord tumors, risks associated with back surgery, and the primo importance of pursuing physical therapy first as a treatment modality for back pain. It’s helpful for most, though not helpful for me. A true deep dive into spinal cord tumors would be incredible with these same two guys!

i had a tumour removed from inside my chord at l2, 2010..quickly followed by a dura sac repair, 3 years later a spinal nerve hernia in same site... just been diagnosed with disctits...does it ever end ..... looking at a long term course of iv antibiotics, after a ct assisted spinal biopsy( this looks invasive?)...maybe fusion ...but trying to avoid surgery,, any other ideas youd consider in my position?

How about hemangiomas on C7 / T1? Do these require surgery or medication can reduce the inflammation? I have occasionally pain on my left lower arm and hand.

I feel like there is something wrapped around my spine above the coccyx area. I have had pilinidol cysts in the past. This is not that. I can’t feel any lump below the skin nor is there a sinus. When I sit, I can feel it reverberating all the way up my spine. I have facial numbness. I also have numbness in saddle area. Bilateral sciatica and femoral nerve pain especially on right side, bilateral carpal tunnel. The affected area is getting bigger or so it seems. I feel like I have a permanent wedgie, but there is nothing riding up my crotch. I have tears in my eyes from the pain. Neuropathy is also issue. What can I do?

So, when the source of extreme pain is not plainly obvious & you believe you can't fix it surgically, you automatically discount the symptoms & suggest "it's all in your head." Ya, I'd be upset too.
