I wish more wrestlers wrestled like Andonian. I'm not criticizing superior technical wrestlers, but it's so fun when guys try stuff, do stuff, just wrestle with almost 0 fear and lots of curiosity.
@@drdotter maybe they unbanned it then banned it again. I graduated high school PIAAA in 2020 and I remember one of my high school years of wrestling it was banned (forgot which). At least in PA.
@@ogot344 At least in SC, leaving your feet and using your leg to sweep behind the near knee has been illegal for as long as I've stated. My coach showed this technique to me in 1978 (MS). In 1982, while at a camp with C.D. Mock (I got to be his demo partner!!!), he told me he'd hit me hard if I tried this move on him. I believed him! He was fresh off his National Championship. I don't know about PA or how the move was actually done, for it to be legal.

Yes, Andonian and Gomez are my favorites to watch because they are exciting.
Andonian is always fun to watch
One of the best 3rd periods I've ever seen!
Greatest show on the mat right now!
When two styles match-up well!
Stop telling us who is going to win in the title
i need to see andonian transition to MMA after college
Andonian had 2 backs the ref was slow to call the TD and never got around to swipe.
don't think control was established
Of the 50 years I’ve wrestled, I’ve never heard of a “Illegal Trip “ so that extra point should not of been granted!!!
You can't leave your feet to trip.
I believe it's called an Illegal Cutback.
It's been illegal for 2-3 decades.
@@drdottercut back has not been illegal that long bud
@@ogot344 If not the mid to late 90s, then when?
