Both the Blue Scar and Penhydd trails start from Afan Forest Park Visitor Centre car park and share the first initial climb. The Blue Scar then branches off providing a flowing but smooth blue loop that crosses a wooden boardwalk, providing an opportunity to move on from the Rookie. Blue Scar is great for riders to progress from beginners to intermediates and is a great trail to improve technical riding skills.
Where the Blue Scar branches off, the Penhydd continues to climb, warranting the red grading. The trail offers some of the old time favourites but also some new sections of fast flowing trail; with a few twisty sections and berms, it will leave riders wanting another blast.
Blue (Moderate)
Suitable for: Intermediate cyclist/mountain bikers with basic offroad riding skills. Mountain bikes and hybrids.
Trail & surface types: As 'Green' plus specially constructed single track. Trail surface may include small obstacles of roots and rocks.
Gradient & technical trail features (TTF's): Most gradients are moderate but may include short steep sections. Includes small TTF's.
Suggested fitness level: A good standard of fitness can help.

I am getting the bike but im getting it in lava red, lava red is much better colour because it stands out very nicely in the sun and people can see you easier in the dark.

Don't get that bike it is not worth the money and I had a really bad accident on it which resulted me being air lifted to hospital and it turned out that the bike wasn't built correct and I went to tredz bikes and got a specialized bike for £425 when I paid £550 for the carrera .
