Yess👌
Yes! Bring him on!
NO offense but there are like 100 people I'd pitch to before I asked him. Too many celebrities, so little time
I just love how she throws Spanish words here and there and everyone can magically understand it 😂
Yeah it makes the English so rich!
what lol he literally asks her to translate
lol I was just thinking the same she dropped, I love that. They both look happy
That's because u are basic and u don't speak Spanish fluent, Rosalia is cringe and that's why she is famous because there is too much poverty in Latin America, that's why too many comunists and dung-eaters on music, and I'm telling you this being 100% latino, if you want good Spanish music there is many good options, you are so sad
I didn't even notice
Rosalia has such a beautiful gentle and kind way about how she interacts with people. She’s a prime example of how to handle fame.
That's just her personality, calm down.
Shes just a nice person, most of the celebrities are not. Fame doesn't change you, it only magnifies you
Her hands feel like very small silk pillows that ends up spewing lotion.
@@GOD999MODEI think that’s exactly what this person is saying, what do they have to calm down about? 😄
I predict her mental breakdown before xmas. She is so so fake and so so over the top PR... mark my words
"this is very inconvenient" was my favorite part lol she's perfect
i literally went straight to the comments after this line to see if anyone else liked it as much as i did😂
Don’t think I’ve ever heard the wings being described that way before 🤣🤣🤣
Impossible not to like Rosalia, she is so sweet and charming, also so respectful and intelligent. So cool to see artists like this, so young but wise and eager to keep improving themselves.

Time?
I want to add to the chatter that this is someone who NEVER would've crossed my radar as a progressive rock guy, but after this interview i had to look her album up, and sat through the entire hour. I was actually watching while coming up on an edible and started the album at the perfect time to literally cry nearly the whole way through at how unbelievably moving, engaging, and immersive every single song was.
I have to thank Hot Ones for introducing me to my new fixation, and potentially introducing me to the whole world of music i cant understand. Listening to this album i was attaching the emotion of the music to the lyrics, even though i have no idea what shes talking about. Its an experience ive never had.
Edit to add: might I suggest Serj Tankian of System of a Down?
That’s so lovely! you need to listen to her album el mal querer with the lyrics translation… it’s a moving story and pure genius
I recommend you to check her Goya Awards performance, it's called Me quedo contigo. Its amazing
her music nerd stuff is better than her commercial stuff... but what else is new?
Listen to Soda Stereo from Argentina. Signos, Dynamo, or even their Unplugged are great places to start.
beautiful words! I appreciate you mentioning that especially a bit more with me being bilingual…. made
my day 🙂
She is so thoughtful and articulate even in a language thats not her mother tongue. Its admirable
Sometimes we think in spansih and as latin language we use some words that are also in english that come from english
This shows the brilliance of this show - her type of music is not something I listen to - but the interview shows the person and personality - which makes me want to listen and come in with a more "sympathetic" ear. The girl can sing and while the music she makes is not something I would have normally ever been exposed to - I am happy I was. May this show never end. Keep going out of the box. Do not focus on only the normal mainstream celebrity. You are doing what some would call "God's work"

This actually became my favorite episode. I never realized how adorable her personality is, this was genuinely hilarious.

Her Coachella stream is what made me a fan. She is an ARTIST and absolutely charming!!!!
Right!?
She absolutely killed it. And it’s weird in my case because she’s wayyy outside of my “wheelhouse” in terms of what I usually listen to. I’m bilingual and the Spanish aspect was the only thing that got me to give her a listen in the first place. But her music slaps and she’s a fantastic performer.

For people who haven’t heard her music - El Mal Querer is one of the greatest albums in recent history. Specifically, “Di Mi Nombre” is genius. Listen to la Rosalia!!
Hi I've recently discovered her . And I've really enjoyed "Di mi nombre" and "Catalina" .can you please give me alittle backstory for these songs if you know. I know their lyrics in English but I just wanna know what is the story behind them
@@Owillowwally El Mal Querer is based on Flamenca, an anonymous Occitan novel from 13th century about a toxic relationship. Catalina is a song from flamenco composer Manuel Vallejo (1891-1961 that is part of the flamenco canon.

“El malquerer” is the best album she’s made ❤ there’s nothing else like that music she created

Always never disappoint indeed. His intuition on how to react to make the guest comfortable and finish the show 💯 💯
I love her personality, she seems so sweet and funny. One of the best celebs !
I'll be honest. I only knew of Rosalia AT FIRST through the Tik Tok trend she had I think last year, but I got to see her at Coachella this year and I'll tell you.. SHE IS AMAZING! She is for sure one of the top artist right now, and top 3 live performers. Her live performances keep you engaged and not wanting to look away or pull out your phone to film. Rosalía is exactly the kind of artist that can adapt to any venue or audience, I've seen her three times now and she is undoubtedly one of the best live performers of a generation. Her vocals, dancing and expressions.
It was so funny to see people being like "shes so great with hot stuff" and "this is going to be a cake walk" then the first thing she says is like "ive never eaten spicy food in my life" 😂😂😂
Americans sometimes don't understand the difference between Spain and Latin America. I think a lot of people are assuming that she must love spicy food because they associate Spanish-speaking countries like Mexico and Guatemala with spicy food. DX
@@eliotj Exactly! The only spicy things I can think of that we eat in Spain are spicy chorizo and pimientos de Padrón. And they are like a 1.5/10.
@@eliotj haha true! it's difficult to even find hot sauce in Spain!
So true! The only Spanish speaking country that I know that is comfortable with spicy food is Mexico. Yeah some of us like our hot sauces and some countries even have their own chili peppers, but it’s not to make the food spicy, but to bring out the flavor. Our typical cuisines aren’t spicy.

His first album is "Los Angeles," which features old flamenco songs. The album was recorded and produced, (while he was studying flamenco singing at university), alongside Raul Refree on Spanish guitar. The novelty is that the treatment of the arrangements is closer to Indie or R&B music than flamenco, which garnered many criticisms from flamenco purists. The last song on the album is "I see a darkness," sung in English.
His second album was "El mal querer," his final project at the Superior School of Music of Catalonia. This album earned him a Grammy and several Latin Grammys. He recorded and produced it with El Guincho, an electronic music musician and producer.
His third and latest album is "Motomami," a roller coaster of sensations and the main part of his current tour.
He has several songs that do not belong to any album, and the most iconic ones, I would say, are:
"Aunque es de noche" with Raul Refree.
"Con Altura" with J. Balvin and El Guincho, his most viewed song on RUclips.
"A pale," in my opinion, the most experimental.
"Millionaria," the only song sung in his native language, Catalan.
"Despechá" - a song he made for the summer of 2022.
"LLYLM" - a song for a Coca-Cola advertisement.
"Tuya" - his latest song released 2 days ago.
Sorry for the length of the comment.
