Just bought 4 Ts after a long thought-processing (I already had different types of insects for quite a while but never thought of owning a tarantula) and here am I, buying 4 slings at the same time :) Thanks a lot for sharing your passion Petko. I'm so glad I found your channel
Finally some mantis back in your collection! The Paradoxa is also called 'Ghost Mantis' you can actually keep them communal with no problems ^^ I've a group myself as communal :) good luck with them, I am already lookin forward to future videos with them
Tijn M. I really hope he does keep them in a communal set! One of the larger areas hopefully because I can imagine that it'd be just gorgeous. - - Please Do This!
Thank god he got these. I keep mantids for one of my hobbies and I love them too much. I'm glad he can enjoy the wonderful experience too. Mantids really are a special insect, you can tell just by the way they act.
Those mantids were sooooooo cool, i havent seen the leaf one before but holy cow that must blend in so well in nature, always awesome to see new animals being added.
My life comes to a complete halt for these videos now. The anticipation at the beginning of the mantids unboxing was killing me! Lol! All the oohs and aahs, and I’m like, “Show us! SHOW US!” Love the new acquisitions Petco, the first one especially is absolutely gorgeous!
That was awesome! I love all the different kinds of Mantis...mostly because I studied Wah Lum Tam Tui Northern Praying Mantis style Kung Fu for many years in the 1990s...but I actually caught a Mantis in my yard when I was young (I'm a 48yr old female) and fed it a cricket...the Mantis ate the cricket's head off. It was pretty cool. I ended up setting it free. Good times.
I'm one of the people who will watch whatever you upload. You're such a little ray of sunshine all the time, and I love your editing style. And of course, all your tarantulas! I want a Brachypelma haemori so badly...and mantises, too! They seem so cool.
I was here before you reached 100k and I’m actually quite glad watching you grow, as I have 3 different RUclips accounts and all of them happily follow you!
I loved his reaction when he unboxed the first one. His first ghost mantis! It will not be his last and has not been his last. Anyone who likes Mantises will love them.
Hey....I absolutely LOVE mantis's...and keep them myself. I only have a giant asian mantis at the moment...but will be getting some different ones again soon. When they molt, you shouldn't handle them for a few days. Just leave them undisturbed...they will be fine. It's just the need time to dry, as they are wet and softer from the molt . Hope to see lots of videos on these guys. X
Awessome new additions! I did send you a letter about mantids as well but seems like it did not arrive yet whaha, so cool, and so nice to see how happy you are with especially the Ghost mantids! (the crazy looking ones!)
Phyllocrania paradoxa are really interesting mantids. They can be kept communal, as long as they have enough space to avoid each other and enough food of cause. They love flies
Hello, it was good to meet you at the BTS, i'm the guy who bought the borneo black turantula, it's settling in well and i feel like its getting ready to malt as its kinda dug a whole behind cork bark and covered the entrance with substrate and webbed it a little and hasn't came out in over 24 hours, beautiful turantula though, I don't believe i ever seen you saying you have that type. Keep up the good work :)
omg those mantises are so cool the first one is amazing it looks so much like a dead leaf o_0 and i guess its because of how they depend on their vision so much but the way they watch whats going on around them is really weird
YES, my favorite pets in house, so the paradoxa also called a "ghost mantis" is a really nice and popular species, Hierodula Membranacea also called "giant asian mantis" is real starter mantis but an amazing and big beast, the gemmatus are flower mantids, when they are adult they are one of the most beautifull mantis, they are relatively small
Petko Very nice new Mantis insects!!! Here in Bulgaria i have seen Mantis like that little green guy that you have now,in my house in the garden. They are so awesome little insects. I love every insect that i find, because when you know how they live in the nature, and then you find it in your home, the feel is awesome:) I am a subscriber since you have 200 000 subs. And i will always watch your episodes from"The Dark Den" collection of spiders, beetles and other cool insects.
Hi it's John, we spoke at the bts, I sent you the C. huahini feeding video that you used in your feeding montage. I used to keep and breed many mantids before switching back to tarantulas. The baby P. paradoxa will live communally all their lives, mine were kept in net cages at bug room temperatures, I sprayed the net with water every other day and fed them on flies, fruit fly when tiny up to blue bottle flies when adult. Same for the C. gemmatus. The H. membranacea just need a tall jar with net top, feed anything moving and lightly spray the net top every other day, they are easy species to keep. Good luck with them! John
Petko I IMPLORE you to keep the Mantids at your house. Maybe an enclousure on your coffee table or kitchen. They are AMAZINGLY sociable and love to be in contact with humans. They will be so happy if they are able to see you every day. They are very affectionate. They are much different than spiders that are content doing their own thing. A rarity for insects.
I keep Mantids too! They're actually the first inverts that I started to keep :) I now have 5 of them along with an Orange Tree spider.... After the influence of your channel
Oooh...I want one of these!!! *.* I'm scared of spiders but your videos are really helping me to see there is nothing to be scared of. Thank you. You are awesome! Hello from Czech Republic :D
Phyllocrania paradoxa is a very nice one. One of the few less cannicalistic species of mantids. Individuals of THE SAME SIZE can actually be kept in groups if you feed them well enough.
Everyone’s like “cute mantissss!”
Ye, wait till they see them eat their prey ALIVE.. head first! xD
Ya I had pet mantises for years I still think there cute tho
Wait til you see them eat their prey arse first. Even worse!
Thank you to those that sent the gifts.
That last mantis has my heart.
Thank you so much to the people(s) who sent the lovely gift! How gorgeous all of them are. ♡
Just bought 4 Ts after a long thought-processing (I already had different types of insects for quite a while but never thought of owning a tarantula) and here am I, buying 4 slings at the same time :) Thanks a lot for sharing your passion Petko. I'm so glad I found your channel
Unboxing and feeding videos are my favourites!!!
that last mantis is adoreable

Tijn M. I've got a groop too, hoping to breed them when they are mature ☺
They can live communally only if they are the same instar. Don't try putting babies with adults!
Tijn M. I really hope he does keep them in a communal set! One of the larger areas hopefully because I can imagine that it'd be just gorgeous. - - Please Do This!
Tempest Stratus Inverts that's awesome! ☺️ I wish you much luck with them they are a real fun species to breed

Thank god he got these. I keep mantids for one of my hobbies and I love them too much. I'm glad he can enjoy the wonderful experience too. Mantids really are a special insect, you can tell just by the way they act.
Omigosh they're so cute! Especially the footage of the one looking at the camera and then looking up at you. Awwww..

This makes me smile which I needed. I love praying mantises
I will always be amazed by insects that look like leaves. They're all incredible but that first mantis blew my mind.
The mantises are so interesting. They look so aware. They look like they're observing everything around them. I suppose they are.
Thank you everyone who supports this channel! This is my favorite channel on RUclips hands down.

After I go home because of my class. I watch your videos and it is so relaxing.
