Gavin didn’t say he could have been the starting QB. He said Sheduer is a great QB. He said he knew Sheduer was QB1 when he signed. Gavin was saying he felt like he didn’t have a chance to compete for 2nd or 3rd spot. He said Sheduer got mad at something he was trying to say at a practice and never talked to him again. Sheduer was talking to other QBs and giving them plays and tips but wouldn’t do that with him. These players that leave shouldn’t do interviews bc they get asked certain questions and they end up saying too much. But he never said he was as good or should be starting over Sheduer. Just what I got out of it
