    Wow! Congrats❣️... I have also worked at a big four for 1yr and registered for CPA but i never got time for myself and my studies..it was just work work work. I had to quit my job to continue my studies. When do you usually log out on non busy seasons...coz i got to log out at max 10pm...and then got no time and energy left for self care or studies🥺

    Courses like Becker and Wiley claim each section is like 100 hours of study time. Realistically speaking, it’s like 175-250 hours per section.

      I agree! I didn’t go based on their suggested hours. I probably studied way more🥲

    We don’t have the option for asking for 4-5 hrs of work. Everyday it’s a 14 hr story. Working at a big 4.

      I feel🥲 probably more of a suggestion for a staff/associate during “non-busier” times & just for the week of the exam : )

    Congratulations!! As you mentioned about self care is really important while study for the cpa exam, is there any face mask you recommend that we can find online or in store? Also, how did you regenerate after a 8 hour work day? For me, I’m doing assurance internship right now and after I drive back from the firm through traffic and cook dinner for myself, eat, do dashes, clean my cat litter box, feed my cat, and I am usually too tired to study after. Is there a way to overcome that or regenerate?

    • @teeheegracelee
      @teeheegracelee  5 месяцев назад +1

      Thanks so much for these great questions! For face masks, there are plenty of options from Amazon, if you search “sheet mask skincare.” One time use, simple, and makes your skin super soft afterwards.
      And luckily for me, i was working remotely due to covid. I don’t think I could’ve done 2 hours a night with the commute. But to give you a few suggestions, I’d consider meal prepping on weekends to eliminate cooking time, do the dishes right before bed to cool down your brain after studying, and aim to do a solid hour of studying, and sleep early! I’d also utilize the weekends and try to get more done then. Depending on if you’re a morning person, you can also consider squeezing in one hour before work- there are so many different things you can try to find something that works for you! Hope that helps☺️

    I am preparing for my first FAR paper & completed 50% of syllabus with lectures, mcq but still not getting that confidence. What you suggest for study plan as I am full time studying & not getting concentration. In day time I am searching job & household works & then after all these studying but yet not completed my syllabus & having frustration now that why I am not able to finish it eventhough I am not working rn. Seriously when everyone asks what you are doing at that time I don't get an answer...
