- A 2v2 high level teamgame vs japanese players. I play with Fard, my teammate vs Nagayumi and HolyBackEye. British and German vs British and Russia, on Siberia. It was late, very long and intense game overall :D You hear my mate talking, somehow my mic was disabled ^^ And btw around min 37:00, its a typical example of when German goes for too much eco, i.e. more than 100 pop vill, and thus too few space for army units :P So booming is good, but at some point need army pop again. But Fard played good overal, especially late game vs brits isnt easy as german.

One of the most entertaining AOE games I've seen on RUclips.

this game reminds me one crazy game i had with my friends...we were playing 5 players (3 noobs) vs 3 bots in expert with 100% handicap for bots...We were in defense like for 2 whole hours...Only after 2 hours we were able to make the attack and win..

This Micro and Macro Management is really good! Did you try Company of Heroes (1 not 2)? Could be a game for you :) bit less of Macro but even more Micro management
dont like many other games except aoe3 and sc2 :)

GG....but idk y russian guy was fighting British musks with his musks later in game...it drained his eco down. I suppose blue and yellow were just racing for best eco :D Canons won the game
hehe, ye at some point nagayumi was booming well and fard too, atlhough tbh fard overboomed a little bit forcing me to make up for army count at that point. Fard did play a good german overall though, not easy vs brits.
Canons were indeed major factor. I think he didnt expect that many canons and musk/strelet is easy to mass as russia

I have a question, how do you multi-task with villagers? for example sending one to build a house and going for wood inmediatly after he is done with the house

It's been a few months but if you still don't have an answer, you hold shift after giving the first order. So you would click to build the house, then shift-right click a tree and they'll head there after the house.
Pls upload more gameplay video, I learn so much from these.

i played this game when i was a kid.
I know in theory longbowman counters musketeers, but looks like it isn't the case

Because Longbow men are archaic and are weak compared to Musketeers. They are pretty good against pikemen though.
+Andrew Yang Longbowman still counter musketeers (heavy infantry). They have a bonus multiplier vs them also and the range benefit. Its just that the hp is rather low so if musks come close in rang they do pretty okey, but that shouldnt happen too much. Also the LB rate of fire is fast, but if you move them a lot like skirms, it works not as well because of the longer animation to fire.
how do you select all barracks at once?
you can control group buildings, like units. So select raxes then press ctrl + 4 = group 4. Next time press 4 and you select the raxes. Then you can train units via the shortkeys you set in options.
I still watch this given that DE is a disaster 🤗

+Lee Tony what do you mean? you click the option to go age 5 at your tc? cost 4k gold 4k food. You have to save up for that at some point
walls are usually for noobs in RTS. do good players usually use them in AoE3?
+Ryan Bonner i dont like them much for several reasons like the stats are a bit too good for it (cost/hp/los) and games turn into more defensive ones. I prefer more action packed games. And sometimes pros use it, sometimes small strategic walls thats different than walling half the map like a NR game.
+Ryan Bonner Age of Empires is different, walls can always be good. They're especially important in AoE2.

I used to play this game years ago. then the graphics card broke and the one we replaced it with won't support the game.
+Parley Eubanks any graphic card of this time should be able to play aoe3 :O or change settings to lowest...
Check with known issues - I had to patch my GeForce to be able to play. May just be a driver issue as bugs are common with new updates

Also seeing those Uhlans grouped with the WWs is so painful to watch.
+LaddRusso91 he was mixing ww also for the hussar i think, later on he added skirms too, perhaps earlier would he good too ye, but its at first easier going from uhlan into ww than skirm, especially since i had the mass lb so need cav/anti cav at that point

Lol Veni nearly screwed this multiple times and whilst trying to pass the buck to Fard
we both made mistakes, but the two big issues was he didnt close the wall and he overboomed so less army pop at some time. Luckily he could recover after with his good eco and us able to hold
But surely the onus to close the wall was on you just as much? Don't get me wrong, you both far outclass me but I don't see why that's a fault on his part
he build the wall but didnt close it. If someone makes the wall (you saw the un-build segments), i expect it will be finished. Furthermore i cant build there since he put the segments there already. Could only built in front or behind as i did later

are u using some kind of mod? the display looks different than mine
im using minimized UI, so i have less of my screen taken up for stats, so better view, and some changes like vill per resources etc yes. You can find this in game options. I dont use mods

i messed up a bit in the start with musk count, but 6 musk almost never needed tbh

+Denisader Vivan (Supergamerdenis) eco is short for economy, the resources you have

Thats High Level? you play like me nad i just play just for fun, and every game goes like 1-2 H
i guess you are missing out on some things ^^ A game of every level can take 1-2 hours if the players are of similar skill, even though the match skill level can be different.

A friend told me to buy it on steam and after i can to play it on gameranger
if you bought it on steam, its an original version and you can also play it on ESO, the servers via the game itself
You could have gotten wrecked so bad if the other team had any intelligence. They were spamming musk against other musk and horse cannons this wasnt a good game. No strategy just spam of artillery and they were to stupid to do anything about it.
I think you miss a few points in the game. I have to agree that later on they made some questionable decisions, but that also partly comes down to how the game progressed in the earlier phases. Their strategy mostly shows in earlier/mid game. Russia can spam musk quite easily and they are very cost efficient and they had to buy some time to recover and eco behind it. If he would do too many strelet/cozack it would be too easy for me to counter it simply with musk hus. The canons of me i think came as a surprise which is why his canons where late, although i agree they could have been a bit faster than this. However in these kind of games a lot of going on on multiple fronts including keeping up your macro.

I did lbs mid-game, but at some point they are not good enough anymore because of the slower speed and animation time, so strelet cav too easy vs it

no unfortunately not, it is a seperate expension. I do recommend that one though
