- Straight from a grainy VHS tape, here's a video of my brother's band (he's the guitarist), The Readymen, doing a set at Icky's Teahouse in Eugene Oregon. It was a pretty good show.
I was going through some tapes at my mom's house a long time ago, and found th
is one. When I figured out what was on it, I ripped it using my TV capture card, and I only just found it again on an old DVD.
I'm not sure who recorded this or even exactly when it was, but I was there - you can see a guy with short hair and glasses near the beginning of the video, looking into the camera and then getting out of the way.
Loved these guys back in the day.
sick, one of my favorite bands ever. thanks for posting this. I was 18 in '96 when I first saw these guys. im almost 36 now and still listen to them a lot.

Great shit. Check out Icky's Online Music Library. Josh put it together and it has an absolute shitload of downloads from bands that played Icky's and around Eugene then. Artless Motives, Cathead, Black Kronstadt, Fallen Standards, The Spoils, Not My Son, Piglet, The Rickets, etc, etc..Can't seem to put a link on here so just google that shit. And if you got anything to add, send it to josh and he will put it on.
