Anamorphic options??
I CANT record 120fps at 4.5k in RAW. It get an error… “current Redcode is not supported by media” I can only record 120fps at 4.5K in Prores. I did the firmware update to latest and black-shaded the sensor just in case and nothing. I have a 1TB mini-mag in there.
I was always curious, why the touch interface on this monster is it so damn laggy. It's like 2009 laggy :/

Cheap monitor inside... and they sell that for 1500$... crazy.. and this is for every RED accessories.. Monitor, SSD,...
does raven shoot anamorphic and desqueezes image on the monitor? tnx
The Red Raven does not have anamorphic capabilities nor does the monitor offer the option to desqueeze the image. It is possible to use a anamorphic lens on the Red Raven but it would require a Shogun to desqueeze the image. Otherwise the image will need to be desqueezed in post, which we do not advise.
Does it support nikon lenses?

Cool camera but also really difficult to use...... it requires you have enough knowledge of video and filming to fully optimise its ability. I am just an armature and rent one raven last week, also shot some footage with it, uploaded to my channel, I don’t know why the footage seems really bad, really confused 😂
It is certainly a professional level camera and it's virtue is that it shoots RAW, which provides the most customization of the image in post. Do a search for 'processing red footage' or 'coloring red footage', you will find a bunch of great videos about the post process.

The footage requires to be adjusted in post to get the most out of it. Color grading knowledge helps a lot. Also if you are shooting in bad lighting with 30fps it will look very amateur as well.
is this good in low light??
It is not great but also not terrible.
