Looove Lithuania, so quirky and fun, so I prefer them more often (plus, their national final is lit!). But Latvia had some of my favorites (2015, 2016, 2020, all related to Aminata, either as a writer or a singer :D). Soo, love them both! PS. It would be great if you did a cover or Run with the Lions! Lithuania 2018: I thought I was the only one who hated that song because of the vocals, I was disappointed when we selected this to eurovision, but, surprisingly, it did quite well in the final😅
Latvian here. Sadly to admit, but many years in selection rounds there were really great songs in Latvia, and then when I heard the one who actually won, I was like, WTF? But it was selected only 50% by audience vote, and mostly the ones who decided were like bunch of 5 people jury, 'music experts'. And I don't know why they chose Cake the Bake, or Aisha... Per, Musiqq and Aminata were actually the only ones that were good, although PER did had strong competition of Samanta Tina, and her vocal was much better suited for Eurovision. We do have strong singers, but the songs...what can I say, we can't keep up with Europe in this level.

Latvian here. Sadly to admit, but many years in selection rounds there were really great songs in Latvia, and then when I heard the one who actually won, I was like, WTF? But it was selected only 50% by audience vote, and mostly the ones who decided were like bunch of 5 people jury, 'music experts'. And I don't know why they chose Cake the Bake, or Aisha... Per, Musiqq and Aminata were actually the only ones that were good, although PER did had strong competition of Samanta Tina, and her vocal was much better suited for Eurovision. We do have strong singers, but the songs...what can I say, we can't keep up with Europe in this level.
