Me & my daughter recently discovered your channel. Very zen / relaxing . I know I'll never get to travel anywhere in my life so seeing channels like yours brings me inspiration. Keep up the good work hopefully you'll upload more content.
Appreciate you making this video. We have a growing newborn and we are trying to get a good groove to get us all out there. Bless you for going the cloth diapering route!
You’re welcome. Everyone finds what works for them. But I don’t see many videos out there going minimal. I love just getting out there. Just do it. Our kiddos will always follow our lead so showing her to enjoy getting out in nature and that is okay to get dirty has helped when it comes to being in a tent for up to 5 days. We are lucky. She loves being outside
Eeeek watching this dead winter while my 1 year old climbs all over me, can't wait to take him camping! Our 6 and 5 year old are already pros 🥰 We literally live in the woods from April/May until October 🤣
Good evening Hannah & Family ! What a beautiful place ! Thanks for sharing this awesome video ! Our daughter is so adorable & very happy ! Keep up the great work & keep smiling !
Hi, where did the baby sleep in the tent? I'm asking because I have a rooftop tent and an 11 month old and I'm trying to build him a bed so I don't have to sleep with him between us
I had this foldable “co sleeper bassinet thing” I ended up with 2 as a baby shower gift so I feel like easy to come by. But it was netted sides, folded in half so easy to travel and set up. Also took up a very small footprint in the tent. As she got too big for that she just slept in the tent.
I think it all depends on your baby and your own energy. We didn’t bring all the extra bullshit like a pack and play. We use a mat and I would bring a blanket and some toys. When she was really young we used this britax fold up thing. Kinda like a co sleeper. I’ll add a link in the description... but once she was able to roll out and crawl and such she just explored. She does great! Her first overland/camping trip was at 5 months.
Sleep was great, she’s been camping since 5 months old so it was nothing new. For naps we always stayed close by and had monitor. Also clipped/locked the zippers together so she couldn’t open them. It Never was never an issue tho. To be honest I usually used it as an excuse to have a camp nap also 😅
Not really any different. My normal routine is a cold rinse(no detergent) Then a hot soak with detergent followed by wash. My washer has an extra rinse and spin cycle which I do. If I feel necessary I would just repeat this twice but usually it's not necessary since I do laundry about every 4 days. So the longest camping so far is about 5 days. So it's not much longer than my normal wash timing anyways.
Was it safe for toddler to sleep in roof top tent in portacot? I have asked some people, they all did not encourage me to try it with toddler due to risk of fall, would love to hear your feedback
I had a great time with the roof top tent and camping with my toddler (from 5 months until 3 years old (then I got a conversion van). No issues what so ever. I never left her "unattended". I was always near by to hear her waking up when ever that time came if I put her to bed before me, nap or when she slept in. I also "locked" the 2 zippers on the door together with one of those "s" teeny tiny locking carabiners to the zipper doors when she got older so when she was able to unzip the doors herself it was like "locking the door". I hope this helps and you all are able to create some awesome camping memories! carabiners like these (www.amazon.com/Nite-Ize-MicroLock-Keychain-Carabiner/dp/B082YSM7XF/ref=sr_1_5?crid=3DUVPRDVAH4VO&keywords=tiny%2Blocking%2Bcarabiners&qid=1682337198&sprefix=tiny%2Blocking%2Bcarabiner%2Caps%2C119&sr=8-5&th=1)
Video could be nicer if you had done a voice over instead of playing some boring af music even though something might have went wrong with your audio during recording of this video. Bad video without most of the audio. Reporting video for spam/misleading.
Yes, I had to change the audio because it was copy written even tho I used something that wasn’t suppose to be. I didn’t realize it went over all the audio. This happened on one of my other videos that I spent a lot of time with voice over so currently trying to fix it. Pretty harsh to report something that’s obviously a technical issue

Thank you! I hope you’re able to travel at any capacity at some point

I wonder how my baby is going to react to Overlanding and she will be 6 months in June!

Hi hannah just wanted to know where is the location .. it looks beautiful to take my daughters camping ..
Northern Georgia has a lot of amazing free areas to camp along forest service roads. ioverlander app might be a good one to check.
How did sleeping go? At night and naps

Thanks for sharing! I also cloth diaper--is your wash routine different after getting back from a trip?

Hello! How old was your baby when you filmed this?
I think about 1&half
