I have a lot of respect for Michel Foucault's perspectives. From this video, it seems we could consider the history of madness as divided into the periods before and after capitalism. In our current capitalist society, it's noticeable that many individuals seem to go to great lengths to meet the standards set by this system, which might be interpreted as a form of madness.
