Yeah because he’s 25 and a six-year veteran… he’s practically an old man on this team lol
Shae is the future and he should be pairing up with Scoot to make one of the top starting guard duos in the league in the next few seasons

@@Senormoola I don’t think you’re from Portland, but Blazer fans have been calling Simons “Ant” pretty much from day one. Maybe Edwards or T-wolves fans should be accused of stealing the nickname, idk 🤷♂️

I know I've been a broken record here, but Portland desperately needs muscle. Drafting anyone other than Salaun at 7, assuming he's still available, is in my opinion absolutely ridiculous!!!!

The young players these days have the draft 180 degrees wrong. The player doesn't draft the team. The team drafts the player. Kids these days...
I agree that Ant is better than Scoot or Shae may ever be, but I don’t think that means they should keep him long-term. By the time we know whether Scoot/Shae can reach stardom, Ant will be old enough that this team won’t realistically be able to build a contender with him. I say trade Ant whenever they can get best value for him, give Scoot/Shae as much runway as they need, and if they don’t work out then they just have to come to terms with a longer rebuild window
My guess for who the blazers pick (assuming they keep all 4) based on this FO’s vibes:

14: Tristan Da Silva
34: Adem Bona
40: Juan Núñez
UDFA/2-way (depending on roster space): Ulrich Chomche
If Chomche doesn't get drafted it's a crime

But talent wise, don't get why people hate giddey, Caruso never averaged more than 10 points a season in his career besides this season
Giddey had a down year, but that will happen always when other players step up, okc wouldnt have shai in MVP conversation and Williams stepping up and holgrwm
Last season giddey averaged 17/8/6
So it's not ideal trade for bulls, but it's definitely not bad

Would like to see the Blazers draft Salaun at 7 since they no longer have much of a chance to get him at 14. Cody Williams or Buzalis if there would be my preferred alternative swings. Clingan would be ok if he falls there but definitely not exciting. If Clingan falls to 7, why can't the Blazers be the team to trade with Memphis by going back two spots and still getting a very good chance of getting Saulan plus additional asset(s). At 14 I'm rooting for the Holland fall and hopefully for the Blazers to snatch him up (not Edey) and it feels like to me that a Salaun/Holland or Buzalis/Holland would be the best complementary high swing upside choices. Go Blazers
Holland is very athletic but has a low basketball IQ, where all too often he seems to be out of position without a good sense for the game.
Zach Edey at 15 Heat
Everyone is doubting Edey even though he said he could shoot and proved it at the combine, proved he was one of the best moving big men at the combine and DURING the college season literally guarded guards 1 ON 1 and stopped them so he can play defense, can dunk like Shaq and hook it like Kareem Abdul-Jabbar with touch and shoot 3 ball like Jokic and kiss it of glass like Duncan.
Everyone is GALAXY braining this because he is different and people just want to say he was good cause he was big college are going to look dumb including all the teams passing on him.
He is going Top Tier Superstar All World
Grant and Murray to Sac for 13 and Huerter. 13 and 14 for 9. Draft Knecht at 7 and Edey at 9. Take 2 of the best scorers in the country and add shooting.
Giddey is going to be the PG for the Bulls not SF
Salaun at #7 please (if Donovan Clingan is unavailable - he should be gone by then)
They can still get a very good small forward prospect at #14
