I love how Electro and Vulture compliment each other on their teamwork in their fight, and meanwhile, Scorpion and Rhino can't seem to stand each other.
If you do it right, you can actually take out scorpion just by having rhino ram him

Thats because of the two duos different mentalities. Electro and Vulture are smart guys. Thinkers and strategists. They know how to coperate and combine their strengths. Rhino and Scorpion are brutes. Violent, extremely unstable, dull headed. They want their own way and bicker when someone else gets better. Also, Rhino was fine. It was Scorpion who mocked him most of the time, causing the rivalry. In the tapes, Otto refers to him as Mr Gargan while calling the others by their first names. Implying that even he doesnt want much to do with him.
I love how much vulture and electro value teamwork but when it comes to rhino and scorpion, they're both at each other's throats. A nice balance

That final fight with Doctor Octopus was both intense and heartbreaking since you knew the bond between those two and now it was lost due to Otto’s insanity in the end...

tbh i wish i wouldnt see the sinister six for this game. that was the only bad side about this game that i caugh. it feels so forced. i think it would be better if they make the story only about the gang war. and bosses would be about crimelord themed villains. like kingpin, tombsone and mr negative. hell, maybe even hammerhead, prowler, and silvermane.
also with that kind of story line they could use taskmaster or any other mercenary themed villain as a real boss with a connectable story instead of a side boss with a cliche story.
and while bosses being about another villains they could build up a good motivation and foreshadowing for dr octopus and the sinister six in the cutscenes(not because i hate this one) for a sequal about them.
but again im not saying sinister six was bad in this game im just saying it was kind of unnecessary. because they had already a good story but they should not try to fill this with more good things.

I love how chill Tombstone and Spidey are. Tombstone is more concerned about whether his tongue is supposed to feel funny rather than killing Spidey. I mean, he's swinging a burning chunk of metal, but still.
That last fight was honestly heart breaking. There’s nothing worse than being let down by someone you looked up to. That the person you aspired to be has become something so horrible you almost don’t want to believe it.
I love that texting scene with MJ. Just another unnecessary yet truly appreciated detail to make Spder-Man feel relatable and human. This game is a work of art.

@@appleseed2933 combat is copied from arkham games and previous tasm games. Same for stealth. Costumes are lackluster. Villains are predictable c listers. Bad ending. Among other things

The main vilains had understandable motivations, the story might be predictable, but it was carried by honest writing, great characters and voice acting, or just acting in general due to awesome facial animation. The combat style, despite being hugely inspired by Arkham, has much more dept and variety to it. As for C listers...Doc Oc, Vulture, Rhino, Scorpion, Electro, Shocker. These are all very classic spidey vilains and the fact tht they went out of the comfort zone and decided to represent more lesser known vilains such as Tombstone, Negative or Taskmaster really show the respect and care insomniac has to the franchise and characters. Obviously we all have our opinions, and the game isnt perfect, but i think its really too easy to say that Insomniac didnt care

for me it is. mr negative was enough as the main antagonist. seeing him as the member os SS, doc ock and mr. N. tried the same plan twice in a game, doc ock boss after mr. N. boss for the same reasons.
with sinister six they rushed, just for make a fan service. and im sure they gonna waste venom and green at the same sequal just because people gonna want to see them.

Rhinos reason for fighting is actually reasonable, he’s been living in a suit for years never given the option to be free of it. He knows that as long as he wears the suit he is a weapon, nothing more, nothing less. When oct gave him the chance he had to take it.
Being 40-years-old and growing up with Atari, NES, SNES and Genesis, these modern games are way too frenetic for me. They're technical marvels and fun to watch, but I seriously doubt I'll ever actually try to *play* one of them...

It was such a good idea to make this Peter Parker a bit older.
Hearing him banter with his villains like they’re old friends is great. It also really makes you imagine what he went through all these years.
Pete calling himself ‘young and stupid’ when he first fought the Shocker. MJ talking about Peter’s past fights with Fisk and him cutting Pete open with a samurai sword. Fisk and Pete’s comments about them facing off for the past eight years.
Almost makes me want a game/short film/comic of this young Peter Parker.
you can tell they based this doc ock heavily on alfred mollina. just in his mannerisms and the way he talks.

they gave electro such a clever design in this game. His face scar is in the shape of his original mask in the comics, its that same sorta star shape. They changed his design to be less goofy but they maintained that distinctive feature, its kinda brilliant.
Compare it to TASM’s Electro, where he just looks like he’s on dope and cosplaying in a Fantastic Four outfit. I know it’s from the Ultimate comics, but it’s still a shit design that was clearly done to be more edgy and extreme.
Such a great game...10 villains not mentioning another 3 villains at DLC's...what a masterpiece 👏🏻

Yeah , i would like to chasing him through the city , maybe saving civilians from him and then fight him in the sewers . Also in the sequel i want : Sandman , Hydroman , Mysterio , Kraven , Morbius and Venom .
@ADDISON HENNING I prefere him to be the main villain of a third sequel , like Harry ( Venom ) fight Spiderman and he accidently gets killed by him , so Pete decide to give up on being Spiderman and gives the job to Miles . So Norman become insane and turn into the green goblin , we play Miles for the entire game until the final fight . Miles is beaten up by Goblin but at the end Pete decides to step in and together they defeat Osborn , who loses the memory after the fight . In the end , Peter fully returns Spidey and together with Miles , he protects the city . The end .
