@Andrey - I want to contribute! [Update: @Chessfactor changed their PayPal donation site to show the US-oriented notation, like " $20.00 " -- so it's all good now. - thank you!] You give great chess lessons!

Hi Bill, thank you very much for your intention to donate! Every donation helps us to create more videos of high quality for our audience. We are also happy to hear that you like the content. Basically, you are right with the decimal notation and that was changed in the meantime. Now you should see the decimal notation when you click on the donation link. Best regards and take care!

The closed defenses against the Ruy Lopez are so passive and difficult to defend. My choices are between this, the Marshall or the open Ruy. I have admiration for anyone who has success playing the Chigorin or the Breyer. I just can’t.

Do you want to learn the whole theory of the Ruy Lopez or only the Berlin Defense?

Right, 8. Qe2 doesn't work, it gets hit hard by 8...Nd4 9. Nxd4, Qxd4 10. Rd1, and now not 10...Qg4, but instead 10...Bg4! And if then 11. Rxd4, Bxe2 and Black is probably doing even better than what comes after 10...Qg4.
