When I was in HS I used to watch hours of Reggie Miller highlights and how he moved off the ball. His ability to move off a screen, create space and nail shots was ahead of his time. Off-the-ball movement is an underrated skill nowadays when everyone wants to dribble the ball up court.
I'm from NYC. My friends and I use to set screens for each other and run around then like crazy. Just to practice catching and shooting. Back then (mid 90's) we lived in a world that was all about isolating. We still play like that till the day lol. I'm 36 now lol
36 is not old, homie, I am 30 and have less time to play basketball then childhood already, jealous of you. Wish I could still use my post moves on the court, damn
Lol I hate playing people like yall..it be very tough especially if it's people who know each others game well..me and my friends just run iso and pull up over defenders

I always imagined a great team consist of a powerful power forward and master defense, a smart center..., Duo of off-the-ball movement small forward and shooting guard (both can shoot three of course) a great leader point guard...to compliment the center
