That is an interesting question I have seen restoration similar to mine sell for about 10000 but the body condition seems less rusty. Mine is a pretty rusty example .
@@Topofthemoningtoyou I meant before you did any work to it. Found one today and gave it a look over. It’s pretty rough. No one was around, so I’m not even sure what they want for it. Yours seemed comparable when you first got it
I need to see updates on this ASAP. These beauties are too far and few between.
So cool dude. Loving this old girl!
if you dont have the head, that wold be a good one for a 1.9 tdi.
Just cut frame ahead of rear spring hangers and insert about 12" of new chassis.
Not a bad idea but that would make it the fc170, I like the maneuverability of the short wheelbase
So where is this salvage yard full of jeep fc's?
What would you value this at the way you got it? Looking at one locally and I’m trying to get some reference.

There's 3 fc-170's sitting at a scrap yard near me. I'm trying to work with the owner to rescue one
Good luck! they are really fun and unique
The v6 wasnt even at jeep when the FCs were made.it was at Buick first.
