Elizabeth's Husband describes a wide range of frontal lobe problems that she has including shopping, lack of comfort in social situations and self esteem problems. He offers this advice to other spouses of TBI survivors: "Don't give up. Patience, patience and more patience. Try and understand what you would be like put in that position, and try and look back at it that way, you know, what would I feel like. Asking, not having to ask but expecting help, and if you don't get it, what would that feel like? That's what I think about, what would that feel like."

Not to be rude, but I drop all my clothes on the floor too. A little to controlling here.

I do too. I don't even want to discuss my sink and not putting the dishes in the dishwasher.

I found this video while seeking answers or reasons to why I've felt a little, or sometimes more than a little, "off" since a tbi. Nice puzzle pieces here. I don't know if it's the device I'm using but the questions are difficult to hear. Great video, it seems really honest.

The looking around band pausing is a woman thing. My wife is the same way. I’m more like him, and I had frontal lobe injury as well.

I have different symptoms I've been diagnosed with a few things but at the same time having been diagnosed negligent doctors. neuropsych report is coming back as moderate to severe cognitive impairments. Eegs are coming back very abnormal compare to diffused cerebral problems toxic metabolic dysfunctions brain disease. having issues in the frontal and temporal lobe executive dysfunctions etc . doctors are seeing all this but they're trying to write it off and say that I'm nuts. I can t remember yesterday on a daily basis. good morning that I try to taken in a day the worse my memory becomes to the point I pretty much go blank I feel like I have to restart my personality. I've been trying to get a PET scan but like I said they seem not to care. and for those my insurance is very strict. at least we could see what's going on on a cellular level. I have no clue what to do I'm only 31 till.July 11th
