I always thought Megatron's alt mode in Hearts of Steel looked like if someone built the WWI era Tsar Tank before WWI and made it into an SPG.

If they decide to do more of these Hearts of Steel designs, i already know what i want to see next: The Insectcons. They could combine into an awesome loking train. Second option would be Shockwave... and i think third option would be Scourge. (He turned in a zeppelin. Which probably makes it the least likely, but i also think it would be fun seeing that)

I'm pretty sure this year is Thomas's 80th Anniversary. They started in 1945.
be cool if they took these figures and sold them in retail or Amazon BUT colored them in their original Eukarian Colors as the different IDW characters
The third party companies didn't try to do this they nailed it. I have all the MMC figures and they are amazing.

You know what I just realized. The timelines brand could be a good way for them to introduce energon autobots in sets of 2. That way you've got 2 figures right out of the gate to complete a powerlinx gimmick. We'll have to see what they cook up in the future.

I'd be down to see a Timelines set for the BW Optimus and Megatron that turn into a bat and alligator! Those should def be safe picks since they're two frontline characters

speaking of Hearts Of Steel Shockwave, anyone remember the 3D printed add on kit that you got for Siege Shockwave to turn him into the Hearts Of Steel Cyclops/Ironclad steamship
I am really hoping for Shockwave eventually! Hearts of Steel Shockwave has been my favourite Shockwave for years, ever since I read the first issue of Hearts of Steel. I have wanted an official figure of him for ages!

That HOS Optimus’ train mode looks like absolute SHIIIIIIIIIIIIT!!!!!! My GOD! It’s NOWHERE NEAR correct!! It literally look like a tiny baby toy. Damn, Hasbro, can’t you actually TRY and do things right?

I wasn't interested in this set when the listings came out, but after seeing it now I might have to pick up both of them.

I have been waiting for an official Hearts of Steel Shockwave for many years. I will buy him immediately XD.
I have no attachment to the Hearts of Steel storyline nor the [versions of the] characters, but damn do these look cool! Really cool figures; really cool!
Edit: We've been getting some more Train-formers in recent years, such as MPG Trainbots, these Hearts of Steel guys, etc. So, I hope we can get a RID2001 Railracer. Some new figures for Midnight Express, Rapidrun, and Railspike would be great! Maybe in a Commander Class 3-pack?*
*Speaking of Commander Class multipacks, I really hope that the SS86 Contructicons are not the only Studio Series Commander Class this year; hoping we get a new Reboot Stratosphere.

Maybe it's just cause there's only one way of making HoS Bumblebee work as a toy, but to my eyes, this one looks nigh identical to the 3rd party one. Not a bad thing necessarily, just an observation

Greasers, hot rods, what's that Lucas movie? He made before star wars? The super duper fins of the 60s and the giant land boats of the 70s. I like that botel riviera with the hideaway headlights myself.

Im glad that Hasbro is pulling their asses out of their heads & doing different things within mainline. For too long these bootleg companies have been outdoing the proprietor.
“3rd party” doesn’t exist with the context TF toy collectors mean it to be. Think of it like Ariel in the little mermaid. She shows Flounder a fork & calls it a dinglehopper (3rd party). She’s ignorant & doesn’t know any better. OR… who goes to fix their car/electronic/appliance/machinery then goes & orders “3rd party parts”? No one. Professional adults either buy OEM (Hasbro) & or Aftermarket (bootleg/counterfeit/fugazi, so called 3rd party).
Let’s be the professional adults that we are to educate & inform those who don’t know any better.
