Hi - very good sets. I also have a DB4 myself, but you taught me that you can control Traktor with it. But I can't find a tutorial on how to control the program. Talking about choosing tracks and loading them on the decks via the mixer etc. Do you have tips there?
So you're using midi shift+delay to start playing/sync each track? Pretty cool trick! I've always over complicated my setup and never thought to use the DB4 in this fashion.

@@RichardMorrissey Hi Richard, yes I have Traktor 3.0. My OSX is Catalia and I should switch to Mojave because A&H is still being tested on the db4. I recently took a Roland TR8-s to implement my setup. I'm also having 2 Technics 1210 mk2 turntables repaired. The last thing I miss is a good sound card for recordings. I am having a lot of difficulties with mapping and various settings and as I wrote to you I would need a hand. I really like your videos and the type of music you offer. I would also like to start one day doing something good. Thank you for answering. I send you a warm greeting. The warm sound of the db4 unites us.
Hi there! No, not really. I am because my laptop is 8 years old. I'd run the latest OS that A&H and Native Instruments recommend if I have a newer laptop. Thanks!
I'm using Traktor 3. I'm not familiar with that mapping but I can send you my custom map if you like. Granted it's heavily tailored to how I use the db4. It could still be helpful for you on Traktor 2 but I recommend the latest build of Traktor 3 as it has gotten a lot better.
Hey! I want to change my setup. I would like to buy a MacBook, Xone 92 and a Xone K2 with Traktor How did you make the connection between one k2, your pc and your Xone mixtable? I always see x2 K2 :)
I believe you'll need an external soundcard to make that happen. The Xone 92 does not have an internal soundcard and is simply an analog mixer. The DB4 does have an internal soundcard so this is how I'm able to make everything work with the DB4 in midi mode to control Traktor and occasionally using the K2 for effects. My setup is completely different now though (back to vinyl control) so I will posting new mixes soon. Cheers!

I just have a true passion for vinyl control so I have to stick with three turntables as my main rig. It's just more fun for me to play that way and I like the human control aspect of beatmatching manually.

Which Traktor are you using in this video? I'm having problems Traktor pro 2 using Mix Architect's map is this a Db4 standalone issue?

k2+ 96(or db4 (db2 if it is still available), or px5) + traktor will do fine. If you like the 92 layout, go for the 96.
