I think Landing with full fuel load is not an issue. the Crash landing with full fuel is a big issue - becoz of chances of severe fire out brake with full fuel load. Secondly pilot does not need to burn the fuel for 2 hours by running the flight, they can empty of the fuel in mid air with a click of a switch ( as we have seen the IC741 kandahar scene). I strongly believe they kept flying for 2 hours for preparation of crash landing at the ground. Plz let me know ur thoughts on this

draining fuel tanks when above city and population is not recommended so they instead flown for 2 hours and till than they manually put the landing gear on when hydraulics not working....very small issue...nothing big
