For those having this issue with the front aux port on a new pc, check to ensure that your front io plugins on the motherboard are all installed correctly.
welp i tried everything b4 already and tried every single port along with direct cpu connection through monitor and it seems like a pc issue with mono audio or something but even with that enabled it just puts two ears sound into one and the other is still unfunctional. i contacted both gigabyte and skytech but no response and the only workaround is usng bluetooth earbuds....
i redid my drivers using gigabytes, tried getting realtek console to work, did the sound video and game controller audio section both manually, uininstalled, and autoed. ive even plugged my headset into a mic (and yes the headset works i checked and i also tried like 5 other different ones) and it gave me one side what is this, is my pc bios or sometjhing fucked
My headset has a weird level/balance problem for some reason and your video helped me to find it. I doubled the level on the left to get equal sound on both sides. Great! Thank you.

hi, in 1:42 i tested the headphones and i hear a little noise coming for my left ear (the broken one) but when i tried checking the sounds in another form, it didn't sound. :c
The best thing to do would be to try your headphones on another device, maybe on your phone or another PC/laptop to see if the problem is the same there.
My right earphone stopped working, after troubleshooting nothing fixed it so I thought it was broken and bought new ones. After plugging in the new ones they have the same issue, the right one does not work. I have tried everything I could find online to fix it but nothing seems to work. Any ideas?
@@nachL_ What actually happened was that both of them were broken in the same way, which was a crazy coincidence. The old ones broke and the second pair I got was broken in the same exact way. The third pair I got works :D

My Headphones are connected into the headset jack at the front of my computer and its only in my left ear, but if i tinker it and pull it towards me it goes in both ears but if i let go it goes back to my left ear, its weird and it was on my friends pc aswell so i dont think its a damage thing. @@2amFado then it’s likely some sort of damage to your audio jack on whatever it is that you were originally plugging it in to. However, I could be mistaken, and it could just be some funky malfunction of your audio settings that can be adjusted directly through your PC or Console.
Yeah that's a common problem with Bluetooth headphones that have mics. I have the Xm4 so know the problem well unfortunately. They aren't designed to be able to transmit voice recording and output sound simultaneously, so when you use it to record it has to dramatically decrease the quality.

So on windows 11 when you go to the troubleshoot page and click on run iut doesnt allow you to choose your headphones so im stuck. i cant even see my headphones listed anywhere

I was watching the video following every single step and then near the end I started hearing in my left ear once i turned my head a bit, turns out my cable is broken at the top it doesn't look broken but when I twist and wiggle the cable around a bit and sort of steady it I hear perfectly like I used to but yeah, after 3 years or so I think it's time to replace it
I've a strange problem. I bought new headphones and my right side is like 8% louder. I already went back to store and they gave me new one - same problem. On other devices it works how it should. These headphones are plugged in by USB, but they also have JACK for telephone. When I plug in them by JACK they works fine. Hovewer I can't do this because not of all their options will work. I'm totally clueless, literally checked everything... I can add that I did disk format and it's same before and after it. Any ideas?
If you still have this problem and you think it's a input jack issue make sure your USB cable is properly connected to the motherboard it worked for me

@TropicalTech using a 3.5mm jack... Might be a problem with the socket itself cuz I've found it works with the wire halfway plugged in... Thankyou for responding after a year lmao!

When I click test I can barerly hear the first sound in the right headphone and then the 2nd sound I can hear fully in the right headphone. Why is that?

That does sound like the problem unfortunately. It could be the port so are you able to try it in another one (in the back if it's a desktop). If you try the headphones on another device that should confirm if it's them or not.

You need to just unplug them and connect them again - and then scan for hardware changes. If they aren’t working after that then it was probably the headphones themselves that have a hardware issue

It's so weird in my situation, my pc has only 1 female headphone jack plug-in and it supports both mic and sound, my headphones has the red and green male ports, i bought something that makes both the mic and sound plug in to the 1 port, basically a 2 ➡️ 1, when i plug in the green port without any additions, the right side would work, not the left side, when i plug in both the red and green ports using that 2➡️1, only the left side works, i tested it, troubleshooted, and the problem is still here, i even plugged it into my phone and both sides worked perfectly, wtf

I have a brand new Logitech G 733 wireless, used for the 1st day and amazing sound, on the 2nd day, I used to play some games and as soon as I paused the game to go into the bathroom and came back, the right side had just stopped, with no reason... made many tests, restarting pc, disconnecting hp etc... when I crossed your video and checked the BALANCE, it was 80x30... wt???? Why it would change the balance without even going in that settings. Well the important thing, I put it together and it worked! THANKS FOR THAT. I was already opening a complaint issue on Logitech to have it changed and maybe I would still have the same problem!
Glad this helped, it’s certainly strange that it changed on its own. The only thing I can think of would be if the balance is affected by a button/wheel on the headset itself? That or the game/app caused it to change
I have no idea, but this problem was not fixed sadly, i tried every single method here and still no response in my right ear, it does not let me balance my headphones and its probably because these are from playstation. Thanks for trying to help tho.

Some devices might not show that option, you could try another port or check for driver updates

I have this problem my sony wh-1000xm5 headset changes to 1 channel tape recorder quality when using it for recording or games.

It's possible it's damaged as it sounds like it's definitely that the port is the problem, however it could also be a loose internal connection.

Which connection type are you using? e.g round wire, USB, Bluetooth etc

That sounds more like a fault with the wiring, connector or port. Are you able to try the earphones on a different device?

Literally the exact same thing happened to me same headset and. Everything
I have no idea, but this problem was not fixed sadly, i tried every single method here and still no response in my right ear, it does not let me balance my headphones and its probably because these are from playstation. Thanks for trying to help tho.

there is no balance button for me. how do i fix it?
i only have sound on my right side when in connected to my PC. But when im connected to my monitor, i get audio normally.
That’s strange, is there another port to try on the PC?
