Reshada Pullen Jireh discusses her artwork at “Stories My Grandmother Told Me”

Reshada Pullen-Jireh discusses her artwork that was featured in an exhibition titled “Stories My Grandmother Told Me” held recently at the RCSJ Arts & Innovation Center (AIC) in Millville.
The stunning exhibit included the artwork of local, national, and internationally recognized artists. The intention of “Stories My Grandmother Told Me” was to visually narrate the culture, communities, beauty, and history of people of African descent. The show was inspired by the idea of matriarchal storytelling passing on legacies from one generation to the next and the motherly and sisterly bonds that transcend familial ties.
