As someone who walked in this ceremony, I would like to thank RCSJ for everything they have done for me during my time in this school. My journey here did not start as planned as I was forced to spend my entire 1st year online after finishing high school all online because of the coronavirus pandemic. I spent an extra year here after being mostly a part-time student, and I am glad I did because I really felt like I had the 2 year community college experience after that 3rd year. It just feels surreal that this moment happened. I'm glad, and I have no regrets about starting my college education here. I will be continuing and finishing my college education at Rowan University, and my plan is to start my career after I graduate from Rowan in 2 years. Thank you again, RCSJ, for an amazing and memorable 3 years here, and I will miss this school every day. Go Roadrunners!

Its no surprise the students leave being one myself looking to leave asap. Its poor areas with poor schools and poor performance. The cost of living is insane vs the pay people receive even with an education. You have to be making above six figures to even have something “decent”. I have friends who graduated with Masters degrees in engineering and struggle to make even a dent in what it costs to live there. Schools do not merge solely due to cost they merge because of the points above they are simply failing.

Jeff is my cousin! He was taking cars apart from about age 12 as I remember. I came over from the left coast and had a tour of the shop/classroom a couple years back. I think programs that teach skills to young people for gainful employment is exactly what our country needs to do more of.
