Also keep in mind that those same people are quite openly in favor of violence against people they deem "oppressors" or "supremacists." They understand what happened. They do not care.
#MeToo was absolute GOSPEL TRUTH until *Tara Reade* accused Handsy Joe of groping her. Then it was "Nope! We only believe Democrat women who accuse Republican men; sorry we didn't make that clear until now." Disgusting.
I find it so depressing that appears to still be a strong unspoken culture of anti-semitism. As an Orthodox Christian I stand with the Jewish people as brothers and sisters.
These are also the feminists who say "a woman is anyone who identifies as a woman," and "talking about male violence is bigoted against men and transphobic"
When people show you who they are believe them. The people calling for context, remaining silent, or out right denying this happened have shown you exactly who they are! As a woman and a mother my heart breaks for these girls, boys, women, men and their families. The fact people are supporting this evil or even turning a blind eye is wickedness on display.
@@hollysielaff5453 yea. I was. The main source in the NY TIMES story gave 2 interviews 2 different news orgs on 10/9. He didn’t say a word about rapes. I know him. He’s lying. He brought up rape 2 weeks later. Tried and true racist war propaganda. Zionism is racism you know
Yes, I often say believe people when they show you who they are. Actions, whether good or evil, is the best evidence of what is in their heart. If one chooses to ignore those evil actions, then that also tells others the character of that individual.
As an old US white soldier I completely agree with the need for protection of all people, especially girls. Rape can never be rationalized. All women must be protected. I cannot understand the lack of compassion for these women. The antiwomen and antisemitism is unthinkable in this era! Thank you for your strong voice. It needs to be heard on all media!
Prosecute those guilty of rape. For that you need victim statements and evidence. There isn’t any of that in these cases. It also doesn’t mean a genocide free-for-all because there are unsubstantiated allegations of rape. Israel shut down and confiscated all the computers, servers and boxes of documents when an Israeli watchdog group tried to get the judicial system in Israel to prosecute prison guards who raped a 14 year old boy imprisoned without charges in an Israeli jail. Also plenty of women and girls are raped in Israeli prisons with evidence, witness statements and victims’ statements and SILENCE from Ms. Bari Weiss, Humanitarian-at-large. Please do some research, she sure doesn’t.
Who doesn't have compassion for them? What people are screaming about is why don't you have compassion when it happens to Palestinians? They have been raped, displaced, murdered and starved. Why don't you care about that? As a soldier why don't you care that the Israeli Army stood down for HOURS and allowed the massacre on October 7th so it could be the worst it could be so they could justify bombing the crap out of Gaza and emptying the northern sector so they can go in and steal the goddamned oil offshore??? That is what all of this is about!
Since October 7th my faith in humanity was destroyed. Celebrities, content creators and colleagues I've known and loved for so long have shocked and appalled me beyond belief. I don't trust my own instincts anymore. The most obvious, hideous wrongs have got to be shown, explained, argued like it's a matter of opinion. What the hell?
They are cowards who fear repercussions from islamists. What are celebrities anyway? They get paid for their fake personas - in true life they are just empty vessels.
Lets face it, when the perpetrators are Muslims, people are too terrified to speak out and as such, the silence is transmissible. Bari, your voice is SO needed!
It’s not that they’re Muslims though, is it? The first example she chose to bring in wherein the Nigerian victims were supported were taken by radical islamists.

I’ve been a feminist the best part of my life. What happened to these young women is just too horrible. The deafening silence of so-called feminist groups has betrayed their total lack of genuine concern for women who are suffering. They’ve nailed their support to the mast of left wing political ideology - nothing more. Shame on them!
I strongly believe that you mean well but this isn't about women's rights or feminism. It's about human rights. It's wrong to do that to another human being, no matter their gender, race, religious affiliation or sexual preference. They have a right as humans, to be themselves without interference. When you make it about group identity, events like Oct 7th, will be the result. You've fallen to the hierarchy of oppression, in which horrific action against one identity takes precedence over action against another identity. In this case, they have weigh perceived oppressions and have decided that oppression against Palestinians outweighs oppression against women. Facts won't even matter. It's about the group. Actions must be weighed on an individual level not on group identity. It's either wrong or it's not. The group, that the participants claim as their own, is irrelevant. In this case, Islamophobia is worse than misogyny. The hierarchy of oppression has spoken. Do NOT question it.
@@sunnymitra6372 True, although it hadn't yet morphed into the ideology that we see today. They hadn't advanced that far past "class" as the main identifier. As bad as Lenin's advocacy was, it may just pale beside the multiple group identifiers we see today. More group identities, the more chance for conflict. However, that still remains to be seen but the signs are there that the threat is even worse today.
@@JackHaveman52 You're overthinking this. Yes, the Elect will eat their own and turn their back on "each other" over hierarchical identity dogma. But it doesn't follow from this that "things like Oct 7" happen because somebody else notices that women still are vulnerable in their own way and in need of shelter in this world. You can think this thought without making everything about group ID. Let's recap a little of the specific kind of violence, the origins of which you just attributed to the sentiments of the OP; from a list that is no way near complete: During the Iraq civil war, in 2003 the Shiite Imam Ali mosque was bombed by terrorists, killing 95 and injuring 500+ people. Rivalling Islamist factions were outdoing each other on which one could mutilate and desecrate the bodies of the other in the most cinematically barbaric way. In 2015 a Shiite mosque in Kuwait city was bombed by IS, killing 27 and injuring 227. The 2008 Mumbai attacks saw 166 innocent deaths and 300+ injured. The 2019 Sri Lanka attack reaped 269 innocent deaths and 500+ injured. The 2015 Paris attacks took 130 civilian lives and injured 416. The 2001 9-11 attacks took 2958 innocent lives. And on October 7, Hamas terrorists killed 766 civilians including children, and desecrated both dead and living humans and dragging away hundreds of hostages and dead body trophies to violate further. All with the blessing of a vengeful and megalomaniacal god. Plus because some women care about the consistency levels of woman advocacy groups?? And as obscene as Oct 7 and its support on Western campuses has been, it is simply not the result of women generally caring for the plight of other women. I'm not a woman, but I don't need to be and don't need to resort to ID politics, in order to recognize that womanhood comes with particular forms of vulnerability in the world. And I certainly don't need to be any of these things in order to note that those who DO want to trademark feminism as their specialty and DO engage in ID-politics over this frequently when expedient, betray the bankruptcy of their ideals when they start quibbling over the fine context nuances of when it's wrong to sodomize a female captive after killing her family and before dragging her away into a cave. The OP was saying little more than that. You found a way to insert an added meaning, and making this imagined position a contributing cause of Jihadist violence. In reality Jihadism needs little extra incentives in order to propagate the bloodthirst of its disciples. With all that said, by all means let's also note that genocidal ideologies are indeed borne out of tribal instincts rubbing up against competing tribal instincts, sometimes presenting themselves as identity politics. I will however rank feminism, for all its terrible flaws, comparatively low on the genocide-inducing characteristics scale. Few actual genocides have been carried out over male vs female tensions. Every tribe, including the gender warriors know, that there's no survival for their own kind without a place for both sexes in their midst.
Those groups capitulated the moment they went silent on men competing in women's sports. They've totally failed all of us on so many fronts. I guess they were all full of crap from the start.
I am proud of you Bari for having the courage to call out the hypocrisy of women & women's organizations, and anti-semitism of so many of my fellow Americans. I have never before felt so ashamed
I really didn’t want to watch this and had the suppress the urge to turn to something else several times. Thank you for speaking up for the girls and women who no one else will speak for. What a dark moment in time.
Since October 7, I realized that women's feminist organizations had gone bankrupt. Shame on the international community for keeping silent about the truth about what happened in Israel. Thank you for your review of the events and for telling us what happened. Here in Bucha it happened exactly the same. Ukrainians understand this situation very well and take events in Israel to heart. God bless all the kidnapped people 🙏 and God bless Israel 🇮🇱

@adampeaston2076 It's a good thing it is exposed. It's unbelievable! and a sure indication that some serious changes need to happen in the classrooms across the country. The young adults are SO indoctrinated by really bad, what sure seems like, nazis influence. 👎
Thank you. I can't stop shaking seeing this. I knew a girl who was murdered at the nova bloodbath. I was terrified of learning how she died. She was a beautiful 22-year-old, I didn't want her last moments to mean more than all the wonderful things she did during the rest of her too short life.
My mind cannot even fathom the horror. As the father of two girls now 22 and 20 my heart screams for justice, ny mind reels in horror. I look to a concert of sympathisers for voice, but it is eerily silent. I am empty
Your piece moved me deeply, Bari. I found myself in tears. Thank you for the dedication and effort you put into your work. My heart aches for these women who are being held hostage. It's bewildering and deeply concerning to me why there isn't a louder, more widespread outcry for their release.
Im not Jewish but I have no more tears to cry for all Jews and for these women. I feel like I'm living in a parallel universe... nothing makes sense, nothing. I wish I could do something, those girls are younger than my own daughter. Keep talking Bari, I will share it in my small universe here. I hope we just wake up one day from this nightmare.

This is so disgusting. Rape is a vile act. But rape in this context is beyond anything I would think possible. Not only should women's groups be screaming out. But mens groups also. 😢
No one believes these Zionist allegations anymore, as not even a single case has been presented in which it was proven that they were harassed or raped by the Palestinian resistance. In return, Palestinian female prisoners in Zionist detention centers are beaten, tortured, and stripped of their clothes, and we have not heard any objection from you, you hypocrites.
This comes from the pits of hell. So painful to see this. God give all the hostages strength. Keep them in the palm of your Hand, comfort them and their loved ones. From South Africa.
I am so glad I found this video. I have been screaming since Oct 7 WHAT ABOUT THE VIOLENCE AGAINST WOMEN!!! And WHY IS IT NOT BEING TALKED ABOUT?? Thank you. THANK YOU for covering this. I want all violence to end...but we as a global community can NEVER remain silent about sexual violence...esp against women and girls anywhere anytime in any conflict. We cannot equivocate on such an issue and I literally have cried for these females and the lack of support they and their families receive. The world's lack of compassion and outrage is egregious and a stain upon humanity. Shame on any man or woman who turns a blind eye to such atrocities.
I am so ashamed of the political world I used to belong to. My heart breaks every time I bear witness to these stories and I force myself to look directly into the darkness. There but for the grace of God go I. Thank you Bari.
Where do you ‘belong’ now? I can’t find comfort by communing with people who are just rught hand versions of the far left so I’m interested in where yiu found yourself.
What about the stories of Palestinians? Do they not worth to be heard or hearbroken about? WTF is this comment section even? Why is no one talking about them? Is their lives worth less?
@@TheManinBlack9054 This comment section is where anyone with basic human decency, a functioning brain and a beating heart is. You do not seek parity or proportionality. You are trying desperately to create a false moral equivalence between the barbaric massacre that happened on Oct. 7, the genocide, the willful butchering of men, women, children and the elderly to Israel's retaliation and hunting down the criminal terrorists who committed these atrocities and seeing that they will face justice and their terrorist organization brought down. No such moral equivalence exists, no matter haw hard you try to pretend it does. It's not Israel's fault that hamas has made it their deliberate policy to hide behind their women and children while targeting Israeli women and children for death. hamas violated every human right in existence and committed multiple war crimes and crimes against humanity and did it with glee because they're not a national liberation organization. They are a rabid fanatical terrorist organization hell bent on slaughtering the Jews. Remember that when you cry about the innocent deaths in gaza. Also remember the celebrations in the streets of gaza when finding out their elected leadership -hamas - committed mass murder of Jews. Remember the candy they passed around to celebrate. They are HAPPY Jews are slaughtered. Those who commit these atrocities are heroes to them. Holy warriors. These are their values. Also remember the gruesome video from Oct. 7 where gazans cheer and laugh at the body of a young woman, probably dead at this point, driven around on the back of a truck and they cheer and spit on her. These are just regular everyday gazans. The poor palestinian victims as you call them. Your sanctimonious self-righteous bs serves no one but you. There never was any moral equivalence of any kind between the sides and every drop of blood shed in the gaza strip is fully and completely the responsibility of hamas. It was their criminal insanity that brought gaza to the hell it is right now. Think of all the billions that poured into gaza that could have fed all those people but instead were used to build a gargantuan terrorist network designed to bring only pain and death. This is the side you are supporting.
Love from South Africa. I am grieved at the amount of hate and evil, vile words coming out of world towards Israel and the Jewish people. History will be disgusted by this era and horrified that such evil was allowed or tolerated. God will judge and time will show how inhumane this era has been. We must fight hate, prejudice and the murder of the innocent. Fight for life, justice and truth. And let them be offended. Because I am offended and highly pissed off at this igorance.
To say you brought me to tears is an understatement . Now as I wipe my tears I am filled with outrage !!! But it quickly turns to shame .I am ashamed of humanity , what is left of it . I find peace that I will no longer have to endure living in this world as it is .
Deniss, don't say that. There is hope. We can pray to God, even we can pray to understand how something as terrible as this can happen. Remember that some Holocaust survivors had families afterwards. We can also pray for the release of the hostages, let's pray for miracles.
More like blatant hypocrisy herself NOT discussing the rape of Palestinian women in Israeli jails which has been going of for decades. How can she even make this video and NOT talk about the TENS OF THOUSANDS of women and children who have been KILLED in the genocidal attacks on Gaza. Call out the hypocrisy. Yes , about time you did.
My disappointment in my liberal sisters has left me feeling helpless. As a woman I feel like I have no one to talk to anymore. Even my mother has nothing to say about Oct. 7th. I feel like I’ve learned something about people, I now know I walk amongst the wives of Nazis.
Not really Nazis, just obsessed with the woke oppressed/oppressor narrative that honored a pile of dung like G. Floyd with a gold coffin. Make sure you watch "The Fall of Minneapolis" (free, here) to see what Thug Lives Matter is really about.
I know how alone that feels. Wives of nazis is a very heartbreakingly accurate way to put it. The surrealism is like a very old episode of the Twilight Zone. Be well.
Exactly. I never imagined that those closest to me would dismiss what happened to those women (and men), side-stepping it with "but look at what those evil Isrealis are doing to their neighbour" deflect of acknowledgement and rage. So much 'us vs them' being an acceptable excuse is sickening. If people took a step back and thought, 'if that was my beloved relative who'd been tortured + r*ped, how would I feel?' moment, and come back to the world of empathy.
@@erinn5842I feel exactly the same , my oldest Friend has shocked me with her callousness towards Israel, and my own Family think my empathy for Israel is disturbing.
Well... They need evidence... Cause people on drugs, who were running for their lives, saying stories, its not evidence .... Evidence are the ones, when the victims still alive, and its from idf, for years.... Its strange, why israel dont let outside people, to investigate them (not only now, but for years)
I've been a feminist for most of my life, ever since the late '90s when the Spice Girls were popular. I'm sickened what has happened to these young women. I see some of my peers show more concern about the people in Gaza, even the peers who identify as feminists. It sickens me even more that a lot of my peers are more concerned about the people in Gaza than what happened to Jews on October 7th in Israel. As a patrilineal Jew, it makes me wonder just how many true friends I have. It makes me sad, and also angry about what the world has become.
Sadly, you have less than you think. I'm a centrist, evolutionary biologist, an egalitarian, and anti feminist - have been for a long time now since I've learnt the movement isn't about equality, it's an evil status game using oppression narratives to yield personal benefit. You'll know if your friends are your friends if you feel you can have an open conversation even if they think along other lines. I hope you have a few good ones❤.
A perspective: about 200 Jews were held hostage by Hamas for its perverse needs, for about a hundred days. About 2 million Gazans have been held hostage by Hamas, for the past 18 years. Half of them children, so they literally never knew anything else. Their entire life is to be a hostage, as their "government" keeps launching rockets and starting wars, and their sole purpose is to die so that the international community will demand Hamas be spared again, for their supposed sakes. To be sure, we should also assume those kids are brainwashed to support that. At least many of them. They may be beyond redemption, though that merely adds one more reason to feel sorrow for their fates. Either way: Gazans and Israelis share that enemy. Perhaps that will help a little.
Western "feminists" justifying sexual violence and slavery to distance themselves from western values. Are western women really gonna tell me that non-western patriarchy (Islam) is what my daughters need? Anyways, you're what a strong woman is no doubt! Stay true most people are with you, from an ashkenazim father of 2 daughters ❤
As a liberal feminist, the progressive left's total disregard for this atrocity is just mind-boggling to me. Thank you, Bari, I'm not sure who is listening, but at least someone is talking.
Here's the conundrum: The far left is NOT progressive, it's regressive and oppressive. George Orwell must be rolling in his grave about the anti-descriptive version of "newspeak". Language is no longer used to describe facts and realities, it has been corrupted in the emotional service of fallacies of equivocation.
Same feeling here. Unbelievable, disgusting. I was left leaning, but I am now disgusted by the hypocrisy and, quite frankly, the dangerous stupidity of the left on this issue, and other issues. I'm not Jewish by the way. But what I see is that hatred of Jewish people now seems to be the hallmark of the left as well as the far right. They better hope they do not get what they are asking for as the whole world will suffer. Honestly, they should live under Hamas and learn about who they are supporting. The world has gone mad.
I hope it may resonate with you as to who the left really is. I had the same epiphany when I was young and so what my mates were saying when what happened to Jews when Palestinians would kill Jews with bombing in Israel or murder in Munich Olympics or the Achille Laro ship when they threw overboard a handicap man on his wheel chair, called Hoffman. I will never forget, they thought it was in response to Israeli occupation. But, have they protested when recently Syrian Assad killed 500 thousand Arabs? No. Did the so called Palestinian wanted a state of their own under the Ottoman Empire? No. But Jews that is unbearable to them. This conflict has the taste and facts of antisemitism.
I feel resentful towards humanity. Perhaps, I shouldn't be? I no longer know how to process any of the horrible things going on in the USA or abroad. As an American woman, as a survivor of abuse, as someone who's family has lost a loved one to gun violence and the seeds of racial hate, my heart goes out to innocent people affected by violence the world over. We need more love, but the lack of love and resurgence of pure hate in America means I may be fleeing elsewhere. I really was hoping that I would never see so much hate and gas-lighting in everyday society, but here we are. Update: I NEVER said there was a nation out there that didn't have gas-lighting and violence and hate. Thanks .
Stephan speaks channel Stephan said interesting opinion "Internet makes you feel like the minority of people is the majority of people of certain mindset or lifestyle." On the Internet he is followed mostly by women, to talk bout relationships and harmonious marriages etc In real life, he is approached mostly by men telling him, that his content helps him. Internet algorithms will teach you most men or women are bad artificial, robotic, having no emotions or empathy , because artificial intelligence and corporations and media want to have control over your thought process while in reality, you meet many nice people, because close talk face to face creates humility, empathy love, gratitude, friendship, understanding because face-to-face conversation creates healthy hormones in the brain. The Internet makes the minority look like the majority of people makes look like there are more bad women than in reality. Therefore in the real world number of narcissists increases, because they are brainwashed by internet opinions. I dont mean this video, but other topics.
It's easy to feel that way. Yet, to give in to resentment would be to add to the hatred yourself. That's how many good people fall. Something important to know: the world has globalized. This means that the news now brings you the worst things that happened, not in a town or a state, but in half the world. Our brains aren't wired for that. When we hear a hundred horrifying stories a day, we process it as if that happened in our little town. Of course we'd be terrified and outraged. But those stories - even if limited to the western world - come from a place of a billion people. Even a hundred stories are one in 10 million. Per year, one in 30,000. On a lifetime, 1 in 300, about 0.3%. That is, if 100 horrible things happen - which you may now hear of - in the west every day, then 99.7% of people live lives free of that. I don't say that number is accurate, by the way. That depends what you define as horrors. The point is that you could have a nonstop newsfeed of horror, and yet it would only talk of less than 1% of people. Exceptional cases. Your brain doesn't register that, so it feels vastly worse. A similar thing that happens, is that now you can be far more aware of the world, if you so choose. Less than a hundred years ago you would have cheered on internment of the Japanese. If you were British, you would cheer for the starvation of Germany, or the fate of its women. And if you were German, you would believe the Jews had it coming. You wouldn't know better, that's all you saw in the news that shaped you... and if you thought otherwise, you probably cheered for the atrocities the other side committed. You would feel pretty good about your fellow travelers, who also knew nothing more. Today we have unprecedented plurality of views because we can be informed so much more. So we can disagree, deeply, about everything. Indeed, there's now so much information that nobody can read it all, and we're all limited to the bit we engage with. So, the very fact of progress (I dare say) now at one and the same time means we're far more informed... but also far more deprived of available information. We can't process it all. So have some patience for those who conclude differently. Maybe they have some info you missed out on. Or maybe they can process less. Especially if they're young: we can't expect 20yr olds to know much about the world we barely come to understand yet. Just a few answers to offer nuance. I'm sorry that it will further complicate matters (the world's complex enough as it is!) but I find the humility in it, liberating.
@@alaalfa8839 this is also about human habits in thinking. We have two main ways of thinking - automatic reactive thinking (emotion driven) and methodical careful thinking (takes effort). We have to train ourselves to use careful thinking about things particularly for topics that raise strong emotions. Does a video of a crying boy mean that the text giving a reason for his crying is telling the truth? Usually not, but if people are already angry about something and you tell them the boy is crying they usually will accept that as true. Critical thinking is ‘why is the video so short?’ ‘Why does the boy not tell me why he is crying?’ A lot of people who romanticise the idea of a civil war like to vilify Israel and ‘Zionism’ as a proxy for what they hate about their western leaders, and they don’t know anywhere near enough about the Middle East to be making harsh judgements, they do it based on assumptions. When they support ‘free Pal’ they don’t even think about what that means for Ethiopian Jews and their Israeli offspring. They just imagine what Palestine propaganda tells them, that Israelis are all European Jews. It’s most sad that younger generations have been radicalised and it’s not so much even through social media; it’s face to face through school content for young Palestinians. Have a read through these reports and you will see www.impact-se.org/reports-2/palestinian-territories/
God, this is so horrifying and must be the most painful (for you) piece you've ever created. I never, ever would have thought that after everything women have been through and fought for, we'd end up in this absolute cluster f**k of moral confusion. Thank you for this clear and brave journalism.
Tendentious, deliberate moral confusion, and confusion on every other human area of thought, interest or research, have always been tools utilized by the feminist ideology and all her sister ideologies to destabilize society and grab power for themselves. They are all essentially cults busy brainwashing, gaslighting and manipulating people, destroying many lives in the process.

Disappointing? Disappointing? You are disappointed when someone fails to show for dinner and doesn't call! For those familiar with the fall of Constantinople on May 29, 1453, will realise that the barbaric impositions that Hamas militiamen exacted upon women in southern Israel on October 7, is an exact rendition of what the conquering forces of Mehmed II perpetrated upon women in that city. Liberal leaning friends, over the years, would consistently respond to Palestinian terror attacks with the epithet, “don’t you think there is a reason they are making these attacks.” Liberals enjoy rooting for the underdog, no matter right or wrong. If accused of supporting terror, they stick to their justification, when there is no justification. Supporters of the Palestinian National don’t want to admit they have made poor assessments (sunk cost fallacies). Advocates like Chomsky and Finkelstein use fallacious ‘appeal to emotion’ arguments to support the justifications. On a fundamental level it’s irrational anti-Semitic attitudes which lead to denial of the facts in order to support the anti-Semitic belief systems.
Thank you so so much for making this video. My heart breaks at the gravity of terror and savage brutality that Hamas has inflicted on these girls, and the further brutality that the world is echoing with their denial, silence, and inhumanity. I shared this video.
I'm so glad I found this channel. It has been a breath of fresh air, especially compared to the toxic and polluted atmosphere that surrounds the rest of the polictal landscape. I'm so tired of everything, and everyone, being held up in a tug-o-war of political dualistic propaganda.
That was harrowing and must have been upsetting to record. Thank you for your courage, Bari. As to the question "Why Are Feminists Silent on Rape and Murder?" That's easy --- more than mere hypocrisy, it's COWARDICE. Cowardice trumps virtue signalling. Boko Haram did not have vocal representatives in the Western nations where "feminists" expressed outrage. Absent excuses to display sanctioned-scapegoat antisemitism, "pro-Ps" seem to care very little about Islamists' harming one another --- which includes oppression of Gazans and their use as human shields by fellow Gazans.
I like your premise of cowardice. This is a correct observation. And I support that idea because I don’t think there is anyone from these movements who were so #metoo with the Nigerian situation have any rational means of explaining their silence now. The only alternative to cowardice is extreme antisemitism. Both prove the moral failings of these women’s groups.
The caliphate has a religious mandate to take over the world. Gaza provides them with a victimhood fig leaf to cover this ambition. Their followers, too, like that fig leaf: it lets them fawn before the numerous, the mean, the dangerous, the rich, without tarnishing their fantasies of virtue.
Even antisemitism (an utterly irrational position) is a manifestation of cowardice. After all, it's safer to pick on 14 million well-behaved citizens than it is to "trigger" violence-prone obdurate-religionist representatives of 1.8 billion (or whatever the actual number). @@XLC-zd8dn

The comment about "why did you not collect more evidence" gets me every time. People do not realize that they collected 100s of bodies (and parts) every day in the first weeks after 7 oct, the focus was not to determine if women were raped or not, how can people not understand this!?
when people do not want to beleive no amount of evidence will be enough. People want their bias more. Incredibly dangerous time for the everyone in the world. Not sure how thinking disappeared?
Thank you for reviewing all of these horrific stories. With the exception of Douglas Murray, Col Kemp, and a few others, I no longer expect anyone in the so call civilized western world to treat Israel, Israelis or Jews with fairness or kindness. If they do, I feel stupidly grateful and surprised. From Karmiel, Israel.
The apathy to these horrific / barbaric acts of violence, like the hypocrisy from women organizations and high profile celebrities is absolutely mind blowing! We will never forget.
What scares me is there are sections of this country that elect people to congress who actively or passively endorses this behavior as long as it happens to Israeli women.
They are called the SQUAD, and bless Bari and her father for trying to elect Bhavini Patel and get rid of the antisemitic Summer Lee in their hometown of Pittsburgh. GO Bhavini Patel !!!
To witness the response to what happened in Israel has bern one of the most shocking things of my life. To get the extent of the disinformation campaign have born such fruit as the inhumanity towards Israel and Jews at this time by so many western colleges and organizations. Bari, your work is so important . I’ve always been left but I see that is no longer my political home. The silence of feminists and feminist organizations has been outrageous. One day they will look back at this time with devastating shame.
For those familiar with the fall of Constantinople on May 29, 1453, will realise aware that the barbaric impositions that Hamas militiamen exacted upon women in southern Israel on October 7, is an exact rendition of what the conquering forces of Mehmed II perpetrated upon women in that city. With the historical comparison aside, it is truly astounding that feminists - let alone supposedly civilized people - have barely uttered a sentence of condemnation of these atrocious acts of rape inflicted upon these young women by insane Islamic terrorists. But, taking into valid account that, hardly a politician in the whole of Britain, over the past 20 years, has unconditionally condemned the Muslim groups in that jurisdiction for the grooming and raping of White girls says plenty.
I hope you are right. But in order to feel shame, one must be capable of shame. I'm not sure that is the case, here. Jew hatred is historically a remarkably shameless thing.
This has all become so warped. People have zero idea what they are supporting, zero idea of actual events, zero idea of the history or cultures involved. They are all just grabbing at power by using hate and are completely blind to it. Some of us women are holding these women close to our hearts and mourning them amongst ourselves, as women have always done.

Those in power but who refuse to speak out against this are deplorable. I've lost all respect for these "champions of women's rights". Feminism is dead.
I can understand why you had to stop watching. However, please please at least skip to 17.06 onwards to hear about the callous cruelty of both political and random Americans towards the victims' relatives, their spokespeople and the NYT article. In one case people in an audience made pig sounds at a speaker talking about the victims.
There should absolute condemnation for rape for any human. It is also important to mention the atrocities heavy documented by the IDF on Palestinians. The report of sexual violence in the New York Times has been been rebuked for inaccuracy and the fact the writer was not a journalist and falsified information.
It's meaningless to talk about "the world" as if it had one mind. Many people care. But the world has a million problems and the plight of the Israeli hostages is only one of them.
Thank you for your post. As the child of an Auschwitz survivor, who lost 27 family members up the chimney. As someone who has read extensively about the Holocaust, including Elie Wiesel's book originally published as "And the World Was Silent", it's interesting to hear how people not personally involved dismiss atrocities. Maybe when it happens to your family you'll understand how Jews feel. Until then, I suppose many do not have the capacity to see past their own selfish lives. Of course, they will also jump on the bandwagon of hate when the people hated resonstes for them. @@jrd33

Thank you Bari. When people deny the sexual violence by Hamas, I can’t bear to watch the terrorist videos just to satisfy myself that the deniers are wrong.
So, this is something I said to another person a while back. If you already believe the reports about the sexual violence committed against women and children in the kibbutz, and you have zero doubts, there's really no need for you to watch the videos. Why would you put yourself through that kind of trauma unnecessarily if you already firmly trust the reports coming out of Israel. In part, I get it.... It's helpful to have seen the evidence when dealing with people who want to deny any of it happened at all. But they're going to deny it no matter what you've seen or heard. For example, there's many making the absurd (and evil) claim that it was the IDF who did the entire thing: the murders, the rapes, the torture. It's not worth putting yourself through it.
Tell a lie long enough that it becomes the truth. I watched 7 returned hostages videos with zero rape. Nazi taught them war propaganda & Warsaw type cities. Are you surprised this Zionist culture is doing this to the Palestinians.
Thank you Bari! Disappointing and Tragic. It is Evil not to recognize and speak out on murderous Islamic Extremism either in Africa or Israel. How have we gone so wrong?
Keep in mind that these same Feminists who are quiet on the issue are the same ones that say "Silence is violence".

@@JackHaveman52 Sounds like Lenin's Rotten Advocacy
@@sunnymitra6372
True, although it hadn't yet morphed into the ideology that we see today.

Evidence are the ones, when the victims still alive, and its from idf, for years.... Its strange, why israel dont let outside people, to investigate them (not only now, but for years)
Like feminism? Haha
It comes from a long history of Holocaust denial.
And they get sadistic enjoyment from saying it too.
I too don’t understand how anyone calls for a cease fire vs hostage release! Outrageous!! 😮
I’m sharing this with EVERYONE. My heart breaks for them. My heart sings for you. Please continue what you’re doing.
The feminist movement is a self patronising political arm of the Marxist movement that intends and is dismantling America & its Constitution
I am not a Jew, but I am also saddened and angry that so many people are justifying injustice. It's vile.
Don't be a Feminist........it's a Toxic Ideology
That is interesting, because for us non-liberals, it came as absolutely no surprise at all.
A brilliant piece of work.
Let's hope your power and eloquence jolts so many of the morally bereft into recovering their voices..
Thank you! Silence and hypocrisy is infuriating!
Thanks .
You think there's somewhere with less hate and less gas-lightong? LMK.
Stephan speaks channel Stephan said interesting opinion "Internet makes you feel like the minority of people is the majority of people of certain mindset or lifestyle."
On the Internet he is followed mostly by women, to talk bout relationships and harmonious marriages etc
In real life, he is approached mostly by men telling him, that his content helps him.
Internet algorithms will teach you most men or women are bad artificial, robotic, having no emotions or empathy
, because artificial intelligence and corporations and media want to have control over your thought process
while in reality, you meet many nice people, because close talk face to face creates humility, empathy love, gratitude, friendship, understanding because face-to-face conversation creates healthy hormones in the brain.
The Internet makes the minority look like the majority of people
makes look like there are more bad women than in reality.
Therefore in the real world number of narcissists increases, because they are brainwashed by internet opinions.
I dont mean this video, but other topics.
Goodbye. If you think this is the only country where "pure hate" abounds, you are in for a rude awakening when you flee elsewhere.
Critical thinking is ‘why is the video so short?’ ‘Why does the boy not tell me why he is crying?’
A lot of people who romanticise the idea of a civil war like to vilify Israel and ‘Zionism’ as a proxy for what they hate about their western leaders, and they don’t know anywhere near enough about the Middle East to be making harsh judgements, they do it based on assumptions.

A year ago, I hadn't heard of Bari Weiss. Now, she's my hero. Keep speaking the unadorned truth, Bari.
Perfectly written and perfectly delivered. Thank you. YOu said what is right and what is true.
Bari, what leadership! Thank you for the brilliant way you exposed this hypocrisy and the frankly, naive ignorance and duplicity of those who failed to denounce this unspeakable crime. My heart goes out to those poor women and their loved ones and my condemnation to those wretched Jihadi #@$#@.

The silence has been startling. Those people who tore down pictures. How can women who claim to be feminists or for human rights do that? I’ve lost complete respect in women who I thought were fellow feminists. I don’t even think they know what feminism is or was. They have totally lost the point. How utterly disappointing.
Disappointing? Disappointing? You are disappointed when someone fails to show for dinner and doesn't call! You are outraged, appalled and sickened when they refuse to call out atrocities because they are happening to a people that few in the international community (apparently) gives a damn about. Only make your skin crawl? I wanted to throw up. The callous cruelty is off the charts.
Thank-you for sticking up for these women and calling out these women’s groups. This is so sickening.
According to Briahna Joy Grey, the IDF is fabricating these stories as an excuse to "commit genocide" against Palestinians in Gaza.
One can only admire the decency and moral clarity of Bari Weiss.

For those familiar with the fall of Constantinople on May 29, 1453, will realise that the barbaric impositions that Hamas militiamen exacted upon women in southern Israel on October 7, is an exact rendition of what the conquering forces of Mehmed II perpetrated upon women in that city.

I'm sure making this video was incrediably difficult. Thank you for holding back your tears, rage and screams while you mustered the will to film this. You managed to frame the atrocities in clear rational perspective. I hope these misguided "justice warriors" will hear and reflect. I was not surprised by the actions of Hamas. I have been surprised and feel profoundly betrayed by the women and organizations I have always been proud to be associated with.

I still can’t understand why so many were silent, we saw the videos we saw the fear. Girls like you and I. Thank you Bari keep on raising this.
This has been going on for 30 years.
Thank you for speaking out while the world is silent.
Thank you so so much for making this video. My heart breaks at the gravity of terror and savage brutality that Hamas has inflicted on these girls, and the further brutality that the world is echoing with their denial, silence, and inhumanity. I shared this video.

Hello from Switzerland thank you so much for your podcast you are absolute right God bless you and God bless Israel and I pray for all of you
That was harrowing and must have been upsetting to record.
@@XLC-zd8dn

There should absolute condemnation for rape for any human. It is also important to mention the atrocities heavy documented by the IDF on Palestinians. The report of sexual violence in the New York Times has been been rebuked for inaccuracy and the fact the writer was not a journalist and falsified information.
Unfortunately Bari, the world doesn't care.. Deep down we have always known this ☹
It's meaningless to talk about "the world" as if it had one mind.
Thank you Bari. When people deny the sexual violence by Hamas, I can’t bear to watch the terrorist videos just to satisfy myself that the deniers are wrong.
They aren’t denying it. What they are doing is denouncing the actual genocide that we have eye witnesses for and insurmountable facts in evidence.
The denialists are simply anti semitic. They dehumanize Jewish people.
Tell a lie long enough that it becomes the truth. I watched 7 returned hostages videos with zero rape.
Nazi taught them war propaganda & Warsaw type cities.
Are you surprised this Zionist culture is doing this to the Palestinians.
People deny what is not true. Provide one single tiny piece of evidence. That's all we ask.
My heart is aching for these women and girls 💔💔💔
