This video reminded my why I can’t afford to slack off on diligently separating my Locs after every wash
something I think ive noticed is people do less separating/picking on their non dominant side since its harder to manipulate that side, I think thats why your left side looks different, and why ive found in both my locks so far I get thicker locks on the left side, and I notice a lot of peoples left side being the one that looks more organic.

I have Congos trying to form because of the type of hair I have. I think I have 4c really curly but can be kinky but super soft. My hair loves to tangle together. I thinks it's locking fairly well. A bit messy but I luv it.

Everybody's hair dreads differently, but everybody freeforming have things in common like congos.
You can separate them in the beginning and they'd still count as freeform dreadlocks later. 🙂

When you get your cut do you taper do you tape the front hair line at all or no I just cut mine cause my locs locked up with my hairline
I use to but I dont even know where my line is anymore. So I just taper the sides. My line is lost in the bangs

Yup! Just let it be with little to no maintenance! Poppin in to do a light touch up and ensure your locs can stick with you long term is all Gucci in my book

Def my habits and how I slept with my hair. If I wake with a matted fro, you can use a spray bottle to wake and shake your hair. Get some bounce and moisture back in- got a vid on the channel dedicated to

I got a bit of dandruff in my locks what do I do for that
Try washing with some apple cider vinegar
i use nizoral anti dandruff shampoo and use acv + natural conditioning spray from free the roots afterwards to get rid of any residue from the nizoral anti dandruff shampoo or buildup in general

@@feranmigv3174 no problem also when your hairs wet dont use anything like a bonnet idk if you do but i do for example to lessen the chance of anything like getting in my hair when im in my house but doing that while hair is damp can cause mold/mildew since they grow in dark damp places which is exactly what your hair would be in that moment
All the above bro^ they got all the answers 💯💯💯🙏🏾 also been running into a same issue when I switched up my shampoo and started using TWIST by ouidad shampo. It f***ked up my head for a good 2 weeks. Went back to basics with diluted dr. Bronnners, couple drops of carrier and essential oils-good as new

Go get some wicks...they will clean it up for you and make some clean parts...look up the wick lady! I'd rather u do this before u cut them off! ...if u do the wicks and then don't like it....then cut it off!
