    Nice sized room but shame about the noise from other guests.

      The noise was minimal but we always want to make people aware of this type of issue. We are finally down to a handful of boxes left to unpack, it is the stuff you really don't know what to do with lol!

    Congrats on the new home!!! 🥰👏 this looks like a great hotel! Not far at all from Disneyland that’s so awesome. Love when a hotel has a convenience store option for those quick snacks. So great to hear the bed and pillows were comfortable. I think I would find the highway as white noise too. Great that the hotel was quick to provide fresh bedding for the pull out, that would definitely be a bit yucky to find it dirty with hair. Always amazing to have a full breakfast!! Awesome hotel review as always, thanks for sharing!! 😊💜

    It always bugs me too when the bathroom door is a slider and doesn’t close all the way. You know it’s good when it passes the pillow test! hiya Figaro 👋 hope you are settled in your new abode, how fun to decorate ☺️ that is really odd about the sound at a new hotel, hearing other guests through air ducts. sorry to hear about bedding situation 🤮 hope they can address these issues, i think this is their first real summer theme park season since opening? the amemnities look great here, thats crazy how much the price has changed since your stay. thanks for sharing ✨

      We are getting settled but it is a lot of work. We plan on getting a few of our Disney things out now that we have a dedicated area to film in. We love our Figaro items. Hearing people through the ventilation system was weird and a new one for us. Overall, we did have a good stay here and would suggest looking into this hotel if it fits your budget.

    Those bathroom barn doors are a terrible idea. About half the time we have a room with on, it does not close all the way. Otherwise, this seems like a pretty good option. Thanks for sharing your experience here!

      Yes! I get why they use the barn doors. But it’s frustrating when there’s a gap!

    Thanks for the video, for a large family, would you recommend element or Hyatt house for a Disneyland trip?

    • @AnaheimParkTourist
      @AnaheimParkTourist  Год назад

      I will try to help out! Both were nice hotels and both hotels have some wear and tear on the rooms. We have stayed at two different room types at the Element now but that video has not been released yet.
      Everyone has different likes and dislikes so I am going to try and give you a brief list.
      Element offers less privacy for the adults as there is no door between the area of the room where the kids sleep and the adults sleep. On both our stays, we have had slight cleaning issues with the room. On our last stay in November, the shower floor looked worn or a layer of dirt was there. Their showers have a grip type material and we aren't sure if the shower floor is showing that much wear or if it was dirty. We ended up putting a towel down in the shower just in case it was dirty. I have seen the exact same shower issue at The Marriott Convention Center. Like many hotels in the area, the corridors can be noisy until around 11pm.
      We had a good stay at the Hyatt House but I did think the King bed at Element was slightly more comfortable. I had zero cleanliness issues with the room (from what I remember). I just didn't like how the room was designed. I would have preferred the adults sleeping further away from the entrance of the room for more peace and quiet. I am a light sleeper and I thought the hotels walls were a bit thin. This is a small gripe of mine.
      The walks are similar but Hyatt House has more nearby (onsite amenities) Namely a full Starbucks if you need a bit of caffeine to get your going in the morning. I was able to mobile order from my room and pick up my drinks. Crystal is not comfortable walking alone at Harbor and Katella in the evening. Those corners can have people loitering around and she doesn't always feel safe. However, she has no issue walking by herself to the Element. Both hotels area about equal distance to the Garden Walk if you plan on Dining there, the Hyatt House is slightly closer.
      The breakfast at the Element is a bit of a higher quality. They have a huge selection of items and those items are rotated daily, at least during our stay. They have had breakfast burritos, crepes, and I can't remember the third breakfast item. There are two identical areas to get the food and it is much more efficient at the Element. That being said, the Hyatt House has a nice breakfast and is one of the higher quality breakfasts in the area.
      Both are great places to stay but factor in some of the items I listed above. Some questions to ask: What are your priorities in a hotel? What bothers you about hotels? Do you have.a hotel brand you prefer to stay at because of points? I am more than happy to dive into more detail with you on this, but I hope this helps.

    Do you have to pay for parking even if you are staying there ?

    • @AnaheimParkTourist
      @AnaheimParkTourist  Год назад

      If you are parking a car, there is a parking fee to park at the Element. As Sept 25, 2022, the parking fee is $22+ tax. Only a handful of hotels in the area have free parking. Off the top of my head, Castle Inn and Suites, Alpine Inn, Wyndham Anaheim, Indigo, and there are a few more.
