I play hsr on my phone casually but I play hsr on my ps5 when I'm doing trailblaze missions and events for the smooth animation and cinematic moments. My phone struggles a bit with Penacony, so having a ps5 has been a blessing.

@oOAlexUwUOo i just went onto my hoyo account and went into settings then linked my playstation account (not hsr account). Then as long as my hoyoverse Account is played on the right server as where I live/am then my playstation will be able to play on it. Had a issue with genshin where I accidentally started on the American Server and when I tried to play on my ps4 it was forcing me to play on the Europe server because I live in Europe. So I couldn't play on my main account.
Freezing time is a really big advantage, because if you want to capture a moment you don't need to record or screenshot everytime Or thinking of a strategy too like you said. I can be with the controller for 3-4 hours but with the mobile phone I sometimes prefer other things

The pause bumper on controller really helped me out last september when doing swarm disaster. I would play through to the final boss on mobile for ease in bed and switch to pc with my ps5 controller to do the final fight and have more leeway with how I used my ults between enemy turns or and easier time weaving ults into other character’s turns. ❤
A while back i was like alright i will try with the controler and then just paused time and i was like wait a minute. It's also good for some cool shots and yes it is easier to play with the controler.

Other than when I have to go out, make food, or taking a crap, i do everything in my live in front of the computer. So, controller is quite literally my live saviour since I can just lean to my chair while playing.
I haven't played on console yet (Cuz im broke and i don't know how to use a controller), but i do agree with this. Although, each device has its own advantage. PC: Can have higher and better graphics, but will die of there is a sudden electricity interruption (Based on where i live, i don't know about other places). Phone: Can literally play wherever you want, but graphics aren't good and heats up fast depending on what device you use (Im currently using phone cuz my mom won't let me use my laptop. My phone is fine playing Genshin and HSR, but heats up and can cook eggs. Graphics are also trash, cuz my phone model is Samsung A30s. Mom took the A50s and exchanged it to a crappy one). Console: (I don't know much about console, but i do wanna try and play one day. Y'all can also tell me how much fun it is to play on console 😊)
When I first got star rail I had a bad set up so I had to lean to use the keypad or mouse. I hooked up my controller and now can’t play without it. It feels good to just lean back in my chair and play comfortably

The best set up is moving your pc to your tv and playing using a controller while on your bed or couch. Big screen, best graphics, can freeze time, all woth the same gameplay.
Tbh after going from keyboard to controller for a bit the time freeze just felt like a liability for realsies. Time stop exclusively exists because the responsiveness of having to press 2 buttons compared to 1 is so much worse. Time stop mechanics are more useful for taking screencaps than for actual gameplay lol
The best thing about holding R1 button is it giving you the advantage: literally when hitting an enemy - knowing your ult will be charged - you can hit them, giving them 0% chance to smack back
As a honkai star rail player that plays in playstation i agree i always pause everytime i want and the graphics is so cool atleast i wasnt lagging like in mobile. While laying in my couch relaxing and enjoy the gameplay
I just play on my pc with a controller (xbox controllers can do it too lol). Sometimes i even pause on the most DEVIOUS camera angles while chain ult-ing Edit: 1 year ago when i still played natasha cuz i don't have any other healer yet, i always tend to pause at the exact frame her booba is showing 😂
I knew that, because I only play gachas on PS5. It is a really cool feature that I extremely miss on every other platform. Sometimes, I also do it on accident tbh. It's also not possible to enter an ultimate without shortly pausing gameplay
I know tablets count as mobile, but still!! It has the ergonomics of a controller imo AND a bigger screen than a phone! (jk I want a monitor too but I'm not changing my setup lol)
Two cool things on mobile! The battery on the phone/menu screen has the same battery as your device. And when looking at a lightcone if you tilt your device the lightcone will tilt too.
star rail is so good on mobile! i was running out of storage on my phone and had to decide whoch game to move to pc, genshin or hsr, and decided i would miss hsr too much lol. now i'm getting used to playing genshin on pc after almost four years of playing on mobile.
ZZZ is much better on console. I play on all Plattforms. I love the way how in the default controls you can just use the left shoulder button for the left agent in Team and vise versa. It doesn't activate accedently while spamming Attack and you choose always the agent you want to switch in.
I absolutely despise using a keyboard to play, I’ve tried multiple times but just couldn’t do it. Controllers are just so much more comfortable for me. Honestly to everyone playing with a keyboard, you have my respect for that

Society if hoyoverse let their devs spend 10 minutes to add actual keyboard, mouse and controller support to mobile (it would actually be playable on a big tablet, the only device for it that isn't going to cook itself in 40 seconds)

I've played on PC starting out but had to play it when it came out on PS5 out of curiosity. I now prefer playing it on PS5 with controller

I discovered this recently when I connected my ps4 controller to my pc so I could play laying in bed, and I must admit that this feature is awesome

Its great for timing ults more leisurely instead of trying to react immediately between enemy turns

I use an app that allows me to transform mm y phone into a Xbox controller for PC. So yeah, it's so helpful on avoiding miss click on ults
