I love Sana! I have the 727 Supreme and it works beautifully, quietly, and is a Dream to use and clean for a low tech senior. Everything is quality! I am constantly sending blessings to the inventor genius, and creators! Thank you! So I just know this 848 will be just as great and tweeking it for many days of juice. I would love yo get the vacuum container though!
Hello. The Sana 848 doesn't make nut butters, only sorbet. Most vertical juicers cannot do this except for a few like the Omega MMV. Typically a horizontal juicer like the Sana 707 or 727 with a homogenizing screen is needed to make a nut butter :)
I’m disappointed that Sana didn’t give the option of a fine stainless steel filter. I believe that should be up to the consumer to decide on whether stainless steel is a good option for them or not, particularly with this part, as the filter is not that large and bulky that would require a lot of materials that would make any significant price difference or significant difference in its design, weight, convenience, etc. Everything else, I really like about it. It is mainly the filtering capacity that the fine stainless steel filter would differentiate with what you have available now. Less fine filtering equates to pulpier juice and more wet pulp you have to sieve through, yielding less juice. They could’ve included an additional stainless filter for consumer options. I would’ve liked this over the Nama J2, as I’m not looking to bulk juice. If there were a fine stainless steel filter with this, I would’ve loved to have this and the 727, the 848 primarily for high fruit to 100% fruit juices and sorbet.
Your point is well-made. The 848 was designed for easy use - especially easy cleaning - as the filter can just be rinsed. However, the 868 and 878 are both vertical models with a stainless steel filter.
It will produce more, dep[ending on the type of produce, because the 848 uses an strainer juicing process which creates less pressure. The 727 gets the most yield of any of our juicers, and most likely would make 10-20% more juice, depending on the produce and freshness. For example, it will get a lot more from leafy greens, but almost the same from something with a very high jucie content like oranges.

Thank you for your kind words. We will pass them along to the design team. They will be happy to know that the fruits of their labors are appreciated.
Plastic????
What is the vacuum container made of ? Borosilicate or plastic ? Would love one made from borosilicate, does such a thing exist ?
It is made from BPA-free plastic. We've seen glass vacuum bottles for juice in smaller sizes (600ml), but haven't come across larger ones like this.
@@sanaproducts6586 do you sell borosilicate vacuum bottles ? If no, where did you see them ?
@@sanaproducts6586 where did you see those borosilicate vacuum containers ? Any links please ?
Can Sana 848 make nut butters? And if so, which nut does it handle best? I would appreciate your answer very much.

Can 848 juice cabbage ?
Yes, but for cabbage and other leafy greens we recommend a horizontal juicer like the Sana 727 or 707 for the best results.
Will the 727 yield considerably more juice than the 848?
