Wow. Wai and Kennedy are just talking over other when both Ken and Hector has been respectfully waiting for the other to finish talking most of the time. I don't think I want a mayor who talks over others trying to force that they're right or better without letting the other finish saying their piece. Even if they're ideas are good, a mayor that butts in receives no respect from me. Also, Wai defends a lot saying and kinda looks down on others saying that she's been on council and that she experienced what Ken had and so on and so forth. She can defend herself when it's her turn to speak but not when other people are talking. I would have slapped Wai if she kept interrupting me as I spoke trying to answer the question directed to me. Can they not just fricking compromise? I mean 4 brains are better then 1 right?
Wai Young comes across as someone who complains a lot without actually having any solutions for the issues she complains about. At least the other candidates have some interesting ideas and have some insight into these topics instead of just resorting to attacking people. Classic bullying tactics to be honest.
Well we just got sick and tired of Mayor Moonbeam with his tunnel vision policies. Now we have Kennedy Stewart aka Moonbeam 2.0 ...leading in the polls. He supports more bike lanes. Go figure, Vancouverites must be gluttons for punishment. Maybe Wai Young complains a lot and maybe you don't like her style of debating but is that the issue here? Maybe she has good reasons to complain. Traffic gridlock is a big problem in the downtown core..and it's getting worse and spreading. How will Moonbeam 2.0 solve this?
@@gigie555 Wai complains but she doesn't exactly offer solutions as much as the others. Not downplaying females seeing I'm one myself, but all the other three have their own solutions to problems. All Wai is doing mostly is (in my pov) being super defensive, slightly looking down (especially on Ken. She pretty much stated that the guys are stupid when she first speaks.), and not offering up a lot of solutions herself. She ends up interrupting others because of that which is kinda rude. I don't have any problem with her per say, but it's her attitude I have major problem with. Hector has facts, Ken has spoken with others, Kennedy may have not done as much as Hector or Ken but he has solutions of his own. What is Wai doing? Mostly interrupting and being rude while offering little solutions of her own.
