Canon ir ADV IP Setting

when there's a power outage, and once power is restored and booting up the printer the static IP settings have to be entered each time. Would this be a Printer CMOS battery issue or what would cause that to lose network settings after power loss?

Hi please you did not show how to configure the printer too on the computer and how to test the network.

I have spent hours trying to figure this stuff out and refusing to call the printer guy for a service call. I got a new wifi router and have to update the network connection.I will try this method in the morning and fingers crossed that it works.
