    I make mine using a cotton satin 'rat tail' cord I have, a left over from another project. Every knot looks like a tiny croissant.

    To Maria:
    Try making the slipknot with only 5 loops at first...build up to 7 loops.
    I use 7 loops to represent the 7 Sacraments.
    Also, the blue Rosary making tool may help...

      Hi Kristie,
      Sorry you weren’t able to see the first step. Just know all the knots are made the same way. They vary by the amount of loops. I use 7 loops around the straw for most of the knots. The head of the cross I use 5 loops. The body of the cross…8. Arms of the cross…4 each. Also, try using a drink stirred…I find I can make better knots with it.
      I hope that helps you!

    • @johnturano2146
      @johnturano2146 3 года назад +2

      Hi Mikaela,
      Any acrylic string about that size will work...you need acrylic so you can melt the ends when you cut the string.
      Also, it easier to make the arms of the cross if you use more than 8 inches.
      IM your address with the colors you want...John Matthew...I’ll mail them to you...I don’t charge...just keep praying the Rosary!🙏🏻🕊🙏🏻

    • @johnturano2146
      @johnturano2146 3 года назад

      Hi Luis,
      I use a piece about 6 feet to make this type of bracelet. That’s enough to make the arms of the cross & the slip not. Thick paracord? I’d go with a longer piece & not use less loops for each knot. Maybe…5 loops?
      Good luck Luis!

      @@johnturano2146 I've already done one! But I used the colors "black" and "white" paracords'! The #95, And not the string you used in the video. Good suggestion though! The next time I drive over to "Hobby Lobby?" I'll buy several color spools! And it does come in "yellow" but
      in the #95 paracord. Only I didn't finish it off with the "slip knot".

    Great video, thank you. Only point I'd make is that I didn't understand what your specific moves were doing at around 10:15
    Then -for the second arm- your description was "...just like we did for the first arm."
    Which again, I don't feel was explained aside from the dance partner analogy.
