You’re by far the greatest curl influencer out here lol. I love you and your videos so much Bianca, your personality is amazing!!! I feel like we’re really friends 🤣🤣🤣😂😂 anyways this review was great
So my daughters are mixed and have beautiful curly hair, probably around the same type as biancas, and this product works great in their hair and makes my life so much easier! I have wavy hair and use the wavy and get the best results vs anything else i try with the lus products. These products are actually water activated, so people who live in humid climates should actually have better results and not have to refresh as much. I live in a super dry climate and have to refresh every day. But my hair is always so soft and my curls turn out amazing with lus! I dont trust anyone else to give my hair as good of moisture and give me amazing curls like lus does.
Oh ohhh check out Bianca with her new and improved baby bottom bare face!!! Wooop wooop!! Love it! 💖💖💖 And I have not tried LUS. I have always wanted to try it. I also have curly type 3b hair 😘
Hi Bianca! Great to see this review. I started using this product a few months ago after a curl friend recommended it and I love it! I’m using this exclusively right now. I use the all in one for curly hair. My recommendations to get the best results is to use less product for the conditioner as recommended in their instructions. Their products are activated by water so once you distribute the conditioner evenly you let it sit for like 3-5 mins add some water to your hair and detangle. This step is key for the best results. I love my refresh days the best too, and I typically get a cast on my hair as I apply the all in one leave in product in sections to ensure I get the best definition. Also make sure to apply on soaking wet hair on wash day. On refresh days you can mist and apply 1-2 pumps to each section. I hope this helps! My curls are so hydrated and defined after wash day, even on the weeks I don’t have time to deep condition.
I use the curly styler and absolutely love it. I do get a cast tho, even on day one. There are different videos provided by the creator and by other users based on how they recommend applying it, which involved more sectioning and using water through the application of the styler- I love how it works and that it doesn’t weigh down my low porosity hair!! They also sell liter bottles of their product now, which I purchased in July, and using once a week, I still have not needed to rebuy- I’m guessing I will get another few months of use without having to drop another $150 on the trip set. But again- a projected 6-9 months works of products (shampoo, conditioner, and styler) for ONLY 150. Love this product!!!
If you just got on here to see how to refresh, day two starts at 8:45 :) ur welcome. And Bianca thanks for letting me know what LUS stands for I had no idea 😉 great video!
I am using all of these products and I am enjoying all of them. I also bought both (my hair is curly and my mixed daughter's hair is kinky). Both work on both of us. With the shampoo, literally a nickel sized amount is enough for my waist length hair. The conditioner works best if you leave it for 3-5 minutes, add a very small amount (like just barely dip your head under the shower) and then dangle and rinse. The all in one works best on soaking wet hair. All these products are water activated. The wetter the better. I do have to use a gel because I'm in Florida and it's so humid you could drink the air. 😂
I tell people all the time you have to test a product out more than once and also use it in different ways. Great review Bianca very informative. This is why your channel is so great you always give such great information.
I’m puertorican and black and I can’t seem to find a single product that works for my hair. I’ve been to different barbers and salons asked many in the trade. I’ve tried Shea moisture, Cantu, etc, it seems like my only options at this point are shaving my head or getting dreads but I’ve been growing my hair out for a year. I just found your channel so hopefully I’ll find something! :)
Daphne Smith my hair is just very dry in the front area like where my widows peak is and more in the back it’s not as dry but the rest it is kinda dry too I just can’t find good products to help with the dryness and to make my curls more defined and less frizzy
@@tharealcoyote9399 The hair on my crown is nothing but a dry patch, I'm currently using kinky-curly .I realized my hair is probably sodium sensitive, protein sensitive and low porosity. My hair stays defined for 2 days then it becomes a dry frizzy mess.
🙌🏽 the queen is back!!!!! Thank you for reviewing this product and brand. I’m a little worried about using only 1 product. My regimen is 2 (leave in and gel) and I NEED that cast for my 3c/4a curls. #curlfriend #igfam #snapfam
omg TRY IT!!! I absolutely love it and im obsessed, I have thick 3c curls and the kinky-cooly formula works amazing for me, and it smells INCREDIBLE (to me at least, lol) 10000/10 would recommend! (if you're in Toronto and don't want to pay for shipping, you can get them at The Curl Ambassadors Hair Salon on Harbord St ;) )
Great review Bianca! Might I ask you to look into the "sulphate-free" claim of most companies? Because I read on the Sciency Hair Blog that companies generally swap out SLS and SLES with olefin sulfonate, which was actually found to be much harsher than SLES, and as harsh as SLS. Perhaps in our quest to stay away from SLS and SLES, us naturals and curly girls are using something just as harsh without knowing it? Once I found out I immediately switched to a shampoo without olefin sulfonate as well and actually found a difference.
@@curlydaze1713 you'll actually be surprised just how many "sulphate free" cleansers contain this ingredient that's a harsh cleanser and claim its a very mild wash. Once I found cleansers without them that worked well for me, I never looked back.
@@carefulcurls1247 I actually began to get suspicious when I saw videos about "natural" shampoos but noticed the chemicals on the packaging. I don't have anything against chemicals, but these so called natural shampoos seemed to be just as cleansing as sulphate shampoos, which struck me as odd. For a few months I used a shampoo containing olefin sulfonate as my clarifying shampoo and it removed buildup tremendously and left my scalp squeaky clean. Perfect for once a month, but on a weekly basis?
I love the day 2 results!! More volume!! The results definitely look better. I also like feeling the crunch, don't know why lol. By the way, your face looks so GREAT without makeup!!! God bless.
I found the same results as you. I actually liked the results of day 2, refresh day, better. I also purchased the Irish sea moss gel and liked it even better. Loved your video! Thanks for sharing
Hi Bianca, first I want to say you are absolutely gorgeous and I LOVE your curls, and your make up is amazing. Anyway, I have only recently started embracing my natural curls, and I have been searching for the right product. So thank you so so much for this review. I think that the curly styler would work for me...I am half white, half black so my hair isn't exactly course or extremely thick. Will definitely be giving this a try. Again, thank you so much!!
She should really have looked up the tutorial first on the lus RUclips page. She used too much product, diffusing would have give her the right definition, and she really should have combed the product through to really bring out the best results. You can see the huge difference on the day 2 refresher she does. On the lis page, the owner mentions the step 3 is a concentrate and you should add a bit of water and rub your hands together, it worked amazingly for me. Just ordered the 1L bottles, I’m bound for life now! Lol
I Love this product. I do get a cast on day one. I live in humid weather these products are great. The best I've used. If I can offer one suggestion Water! Your hair should be soaking wet when u apply step 3. And add water to the conditioner on the shower, you will use less. I have days where I can sleep with my hair out and do hardly any touch in the morning. Love your blog!
Day 2 looks much better than day 1!!! You’re makeup and that color blouse is beautiful 💜 My hair is curly, thick and coarse. Still not sure about porosity, but probably high porosity since I recently had highlights and regularly get single process color at the salon 💇🏻
Oooh! Is right! How gorgeous is that refresh! 😍 LUS for the win! I have and love both too! You can layer a soft hold gel for those humid days. Bounce Curls pairs well with LUS.
HEWO IM LOOKING FOWARD TO THIS VIDEO I AM NOT BEING DISAPPOINTED i have kinky curly hair and i cant define my hair for nuttin im pretty sure its me and not the products tho 😅😅(yes i watch people who actually have my hait type but i lOOOOOOVE watching Bianca
I’ve used LUS for a few months now and it has become my holy grail. My hair is fine with low density and these products give me a ton of volume. My hair is 3a and high po. It took me awhile to figure the leave in out. I tried various ways to apply and find roping it in is best for my hair. I also started with the curly and then during a sale, I decided to try the kinky. What I found is if I want fluffy soft curls, I use the curly. If I want more definition, I use almost a full pump of curly with a half pump of kinky per section, of which I do about 3. Lots and lots of water too. If I want extra hold for humid or windy days, I use a little herbal essence or bioterra gel on top. I can go 4 days just using my flairosol to spray hair lightly in the morning. Or I put a couple of pumps in a regular spray bottle with water and spray my hands to smooth my hair. Love the simplicity!
I think this product has a pretty strong smell actually. Also if you watch the videos on the LUS website you would see that you didn’t use it correctly. You need to use it in sections and and use it on soaking wet hair, using just a little product. So maybe try it again and try to follow the instructions next time.
Wasn’t meant to be rude. But if she is going to do a review seen by possibly thousands of viewers, and maybe influence their decision to purchase a product or not, I think it would be best practice to look up what the instructions are prior to doing the video so the application process is done correctly so ppl can see the real results that can be attained. She didn’t do this and I think thats why she wasn’t totally happy with her day 1 hair. If she had applied it to soaking wet hair in small sections and smoothed it like the product states perhaps it would of turned out differently. I know she said she can’t let it air dry because of her hair make-up but she could of diffused it. Wasn’t meant to be rude...just the facts. 👍🏻
@@christieb.1402 I understand that but the way it was commented was quite rude. She could have said ,"You know you used the product wrong if you did x instead of y maybe you would have liked it better😄." Just have a nicer way of putting it.
Beautiful results! The kinky formula looked like it weighed your hair down or elongated it. Day 2 refresh is 🔥🔥🔥. I’m coily 4a, high porosity, low density; so I would try both and see which leaves my hair more moisturized.
I love lus!!! So Happy u finally tried it I'm surprised you said u didn't smell anything to me it smells like a like a light perfume and it lasts for days maybe thy changed the formula anyway love ur results!!!

I totally agree about the "sulfate free" conditioners. Like, who do you think you're fooling? Any self-respecting curly girl is gonna look at that and be like, 'yuuuuuup 🤨🙄😑'
Hey beauty, I’ve missed your channel. It’s been a while bc of life but your curls are flourishing. They are long & I love the color...it looks lighter. Glad to be back.
I bought a mini set with the curly all in one it is awesome I am definitely going to be purchasing the full sizes and you are gorgeous! I love your curly positive message too :)
Ahhhhh Gotta love Bianca!! Honestly the best reviews i've seen. She's so genuine and always puts me on to such great products!! Ugh, loveee it. She even inspired me to be bold enough to start my own channel! Dropping my first video tonight, I'd love feedback from any curly hair friends out there :)
I also have both curly and kinky leave ins and the products did NOT do well in Dubai's humidity. My hair turns into a puffball everytime I use it. I really really really wanted to love these products. I even tried to add gel on top, nothing works. I think it's the glycerin in the ingredients. My hair looks bomb in the house but the moment I step out it literally looks like a picked-out fro. I have high porosity / medium density / in between fine and coarse / 3b 3c hair.
Thanks for the review. I just used this the other day for the first time and on my refresh I didn’t have to reapply, I just used the mister spray and it reactivated my curl definition! This stuff left my curls so soft and I use curly! Thx for your review!
You can also use the kinky as a deep conditioning treatment. I use LUS and every product is water activated, so if you feel like you need more, add a little more water first. And watch Sahar's video on how to use the shampoo and conditioner because the application is actually very different than what you'd normally do.
Yaaay welcome back. We have missed you. I was waiting for you to review this products to see if it really works or not. Thanks so much and happy new year to you and your family .
Hi I sooo appreciate your guidance in my curly hair journey. I have to share with you that this product has fragrance as an ingredient but is actually according to the Think Dirty app, may cause skin irritation, respiratory and skin irritation. Possible allergic reactions and possible carcinogen. The Think Dirty app scores products from 0 = great! to 8 = harmful. LUS scored an, "8."
@ellababy___ Issues with customer service. No confirmation emails. No responses on the website.Only response I've received was on FB messenger once I realized they would respond here. They are offering me 15%off my next order on a shampoo with a faulty lid. These products store bottoms up. I lost the whole bottle.I do not recommend.
Thanks for another great review! Your hair, skin and out look great! I got the LUS minis in wavy & curly. Tried the wavy first, it was just eh. The hold & refresh were just eh as well. I’ll try the curly next when I don’t really care how it looks & holds. Glad I didn’t buy the regular size bottles bc I would’ve been disappointed. It’s very interesting how products work differently on curlies. Thanks again! 🌀〰️➰〰️🌀
This product kept coming up on my FB feed. I live in Fort Worth Texas, it gets humid here. That being said, what would you recommend for curly hair, in a humid atmosphere? Thank you.
I know I’m late to the vid.... I have very kinky/curly hair and my hair frizzes out like crazy after the first night, even with a silk scarf. I’ve been using this product for a few weeks, and I find just using a spray bottle of water the next morning reactivates the product and you don’t even need to add more. You probably got the cast because you added additional product while all of the og product was still in your hair.
Can anyone help? I have 3a-3b-3c hair but my roots are straight. Not like flat but just straight. Some curls don't curl until a quarter down my hair and others curl at my roots. Can anyone help me get rid of my straight roots?
Just tried LUS per your recommendation! Since this is day one I probably shouldn't comment. However at this point I'd have to say it left my hair too soft and more than a bit kinky. I'll wait a few days for a final opinion. I should add that I have very short hair at this point... probably 3c or 4a.
What a great review video. So we live in North Carolina where humidity is all day everyday. What cap/ do you recommend to keep frizz away and curls looking defined when using this product?
Will someone explain to me what exactly a “wash day” usually is? Is that just a shampoo day or is a co-wash also considered a wash day? I’ve been following the CGM for about a month now and have always needed to get my hair wet in the shower and co-wash or shampoo. I use a combination of Shae Moisture, Cantu, DevaCurl and As-I-Am co-wash. (Still working on what products work best for my hair.) I’m currently a 2a/b. Thanks!
It's really just washing your hair (shampoo or co-wash) and conditioning and/or deep conditioning and then doing the whole CGM works. The following days should be refreshing everyday. :)

Love your curls sis.❤
My daughter ordered the set for me for Christmas & it hasn't arrived yet but I'm so excited to try them out. She got me the kinky/coily one
Look at that beautiful SKIN!! ✨
Beautiful results! The kinky formula looked like it weighed your hair down or elongated it. Day 2 refresh is 🔥🔥🔥. I’m coily 4a, high porosity, low density; so I would try both and see which leaves my hair more moisturized.
So happy you're reviewing a canadian brand !
Oh that’s right!!! They are based in Canada!!
I love lus!!! So Happy u finally tried it I'm surprised you said u didn't smell anything to me it smells like a like a light perfume and it lasts for days maybe thy changed the formula anyway love ur results!!!
I could agree with that, a VERY light perfume but I’d have to purposefully take a strong whiff! Lol
@@BiancaReneeTodayhahaha yea lol 👃🏽 thr supposed to be coming out with a hair perfume I can't wait! I use the kinky formula on myself and my daughter the wetter the hair the better 😉 it's amazing we get at least 7 days with a wash & go love ur review thanks for replying ☺️
Yaaas Queen!!! I cocktail cuz I’m extra like that !! Your bangs have grown!!!! Love what the brand stands for 🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽
I bought a mini set with the curly all in one it is awesome I am definitely going to be purchasing the full sizes and you are gorgeous! I love your curly positive message too :)
Our hair types are not the same, but I LOVE this review! In depth, honest, and exactly what I wanted to know! Thank you girl!
Fantastic! Can you review Curlmix next?
Love urself! Love this video giirl
Im in trouble then😳i always put like 3 stylers in my hair after washing.. I feel like ones not gonna work😞help?!!!
You can also use the kinky as a deep conditioning treatment. I use LUS and every product is water activated, so if you feel like you need more, add a little more water first. And watch Sahar's video on how to use the shampoo and conditioner because the application is actually very different than what you'd normally do.
Love watching your videos and really love LUS. There is definitely a learning curve to applying the leave in/styler for desired results though.
do miss jessie’s!!!
Yes! Please and thanks!!!
I have never heard of L.U.s products- definitely going to try the curly styler. Thank you for Sharing and for all you do. YOU ROCK! 💜
Yay new video!!!!!
can you do a video on hair wax!
I love this !! Thanks for the knowledge before I bought. I was thinking this was a strong hold😞 my curls just loves loves a good cast..lol
I'm still figuring out if I like this product but your results are encouraging.
I live in GA by the coast so it's definitely humid here almost year round. So this product may work great in winter. I have kinky curly hair.
Lmao when you looked up at the monitor and said “oh! Okay, wow! This is pretty interesting” 😂😂😂 I Love it! 😍❤️🌀🍍
I was shocked!! 🤣
Hey and how are you and love the video and you as always.❤
Queen Bianca is back. ❤👑👑
Yaaay welcome back. We have missed you. I was waiting for you to review this products to see if it really works or not. Thanks so much and happy new year to you and your family .
Can you do a video where you show how to style your hair properly
That video is definitely coming!
Me!
BR is the best! She has taught me so much about my hair. Plus, she is super happy.. Big hugs BR! 😀
Love "UR" results!!! Haha Great, thorough review. I was mildly interested in LUS before, but now I really want to try them! Thanks, girl!
Girl you just sold me these products
Bianca! Your curls are to diiiie for in this video 😍😍😍😍😍
they are...... oval shaped 😌😌😌😌
🤣🙌🏽😬
This part down the middle looks really good! And you are right that volume. Yaaaasssssss!! I just love your hair. Thank you for this review.

Great idea to get the minis!! ❤️
Can you try this brand again but by following the instructions? The website said the product works best with soaking hair. ♥️♥️
