i like it. would be cool to see you run it with no tip into 5 G buckets to measure gpm.
@@outofthetoolboxtinker we did, off camera. We used the Suttner gun with no tip and got about 11.5 gallons in one minute.
Great job doing what you love doing
Great videos Shawn , I have been running the Pentair valves for a while. I'm looking to upgrade. I do have a question on the water side its always open 100% do we really need a valve there , why not just a line with a check valve in it. . I do run 2 12 volt delvan now one to wash with and one to rinse. . I have been thinking about putting 2 together for washing
Thanks
@@carpetmagicofwilson that question has come up many times. It can be done, however, your ratios are going to be skewed toward water.
Think about it like this, even with a metering valve wide open there is still more restriction with that metering valve then a straight through ball valve wide open. Which means that what you think you’re getting is going to be a little bit watered down compared to that number.
It absolutely can be done just it won’t be the same percentage you think it is
@@apexpressurecleaning thank you. Makes sense if your pulling more water through and you set the metering valve at 3% , adding more water is cutting down that 3%
@ exactly!
Would love to see demos of the Gen 2's
This lit! 🎉
@@cardinalprosoftwash thanks man!
What if one fail, can it do just one or that type of hook, thank, you product is on my check to get After November 5, depending.
@@kkutube1972 it would still work, just less volume.
Where could I get one of your awesome hats

Interesting!
@@dan-n1981 it seems to work well.
Does it maintain lion battery?
I have a battle born 12V Ah.
@@kkutube1972 the maintainer that we build into our GEN two systems is not compatible with a lithium ion battery
What pumps?
@@softwashscience Delavan 7gpm/100psi.
They are sold on our website. www.budgetsoftwashsolutions.com
@@apexpressurecleaning They sell 12 different pumps with those same specs in a 12v pump all 7 gpm 100 psi. I run the best one which is the 7970 101Y SB. I zoomed in on a screen shot and your running the 7871 101Y SB which is the FB3 series automatic demand without the quick attached ports. Have you done much testing with the system? I’m mainly curious to see how quick the pressure switches and or the relay will fail. I know other people have put an external pressure switch on and I’m curious if that needs to happen for it to have longevity I know for me personally I had really bad luck with the FB3 series Last season, but I went back to the FB2 and just replaced the relay with one of mine and I’ve had a really good luck, but I do have an FB three as back up so I guess we’ll see. I’m thinking about building oneof these systems and I’m curious of your thoughts have you had much time on it or did this just get finished?
@@apexpressurecleaning also if I may make a recommendation. I would thread tap your plate for the pump bolts that way you don’t have to put a nut on the back or anything you can just thread the bolt in and its easy to swap out your pumps you know what I mean.
@@softwashscience it was just completed and sent to the new owner.
@@softwashscience we use studs.
Super duper powerful!
@@JuliusJones-jj8go it does throw water!
