Thanks great video am here in the uk what the best way to start learn plc I have been work in the automation industry for few years as an electrician and robot programmer
i rewrite your program to my tia v17, i checked it many times, all is the same but my Counter Reset doesn't work. I can find any explain about it, can anyone help me?
Hi sir, Could you do a video where we receive analog inputs from the factory floor eg: RTD signals, Thermocouple inputs . and can you make a video of how it is communicated with the PLC/ SCADA via a Modbus or a Profibus network. This will help us students to get a clearer idea about data acquisition.
Hi Andy, I know in STEP7 Professional, you could do this with STL by changing the view of the Programming Language, I would need to take another look at TIA Portal to see if that feature is available or if there is a stand alone converter.
Great detail. Just what the learner needs. You do not skip over stuff.
Glad you liked it!
Excellent and full of valuable detail. Many thanks!
Glad it was helpful!
Great Job! enjoyed your explanation of everything. Keep up the good work
Much appreciated!
Very well explained, I really appreciate your hard work
Thanks a lot

Allen-Bradley's had retentive timers since the 80s. In the SLC-100 line, it was the ONLY kind of timer you could have!
Many thanks for interesting information 👍
My pleasure
i really apreciate your work it helps a lot thank you :)
You're very welcome!
How do you know what type of PLC to select / choose for each project? Can a project be created / program written without having the hardware selected?
thnx 4 d good job,
Thanks a lot!
@@ScantimeAutomationTraining appreciate you... can u just do a video on PIDs??
Thanks great video am here in the uk what the best way to start learn plc I have been work in the automation industry for few years as an electrician and robot programmer
The best way to start is to firstly take a training course to ensure you are building a correct foundation to work from.

Be successful
Thank you!
How to use MCR, ZONE, END , JMP, GOTO, Creating SUBROUTINE in your ladder programming? Please make one detailed video on these topics?
Our eLearning courses cover Function Blocks and Functions in great detail which are effectively Sub-routines in Siemens.
is your online course on-demand?, which TIA version you using?
Yes, it is on demand and we use V13 on the training course but most versions of TIA are very similar

I would need to see your code

We can have a look at this however a lot of this is covered on our hands-on training so we can't cover everything.
The links in the description don't work !!!
These must need updating but you can always go to our website and find the training from there
Sir, which plc's are commonly used in gulf countries
We get a lot of people from the UAE and Saudi Arabia enrolling onto our Siemens training courses, and you can't really go wrong with Siemens!
"ET" isn't "extra-terrestrial" - "it's Elapsed Time"...nice bit of humour there! :)
🤓
Very well explained... strugled 5 yers ago with lazy teacher... 🤣
That's the Scantime Difference!
good
Thanks a lot
Is delta plc's good one or not
Unfortunately, we haven't been able to get the chance to work with Delta PLCs enough to form a solid verdict!
Hi there: Do you know of a converter utility for Siemens Ladder logic converting to Structure Text?
Hi Andy, I know in STEP7 Professional, you could do this with STL by changing the view of the Programming Language, I would need to take another look at TIA Portal to see if that feature is available or if there is a stand alone converter.
Shame i don't have a PLC to learn with. Until then, this video is useless to me.
New information is never useless.
