My Ninja Foodi cook book did not say to mix the bread crumbs after air crisping
New subscriber here. Been trying to decide if I want one of these and after watching a few of your videos, I think the answer is definitely yes.
I made this a few weeks ago following the book and it was Really bad. Way too much salt (I used less than 1/2) and too many flavors competing. We could barely eat enough to fill up. I had to throw the rest away which absolutely killed me. I'm gonna try a different Mac & Cheese recipe tonight, my family is a little nervous about dinner LOL.

We made it as well, it was awful. The measurements for the seasonings was way too much! We tossed it out too!
That certainly looks delicious. And your taste test confirms its very good.
Did you omit the 1 teaspoon of mustard powder on purpose? My Ninja Foodi cookbook has 1 teaspoon of mustard.
The recipe says SERVE immediately sir, not STIR immediately? You ruined all the crispy topping by stirring it in.
Lemon juice and baking soda in Mac and cheese? Very weird.
Kosher salt and table salt cannot be interchanged for the same amount. Kosher salt has a much bigger Crystal so if it's table salt you would only want to use a couple of teaspoons. 2 tablespoons of salt I've got the cookbook out in the kitchen and I've got to check that because I would never make macaroni and cheese like that!
You might wasn’t to reduce the table salt to 1 Tbs. kosher salt has bigger flakes and is less salty than table salt. So 1 Tbs of table salt is the same as 2 Tbs of Kosher salt.
It said kosher salt but he used table so it was probably too salty
Folks don't use lemon juice and baking soda to boil your pasta. A teaspoon of oil will stop it from frothing up and your macaroni and cheese will taste the much better.
I have the 8 qt. and the recipe its bigger. I have try it 3 times now and it burns the pasta. all 3 times. It make a mess when vent the pressure like. That recipe does work for some reason. And I am reading the recipe to the letter. I even weight the pasta to add the exact oz. Does anybody had the same problem?

heavy cream is at least 34% butterfat if that helps anybody. :-)
That's an awful lot of salt, you would think with the lemon juice it would be to much.
