    Me too! It was the first movie I ever saw with a gay theme and being 14 at the time I tought it was awesome. Unlike the other movies I would later see that were a bit depressing, this movie made me smile.

    I love Jamie Babbit. I'm so glad she's there cause I feel like she is talking for me. Anyway, homosexuality is natural it does occur in many species of animals specially in birds, apes, and felines. If it continues to occur in nature in so many unrelated species there has to be a biological reason for it. I believe we are the choosen ones (yes that is joke).

    I hate the way the woman in the "Mother of the Bride" dress, keeps putting her hand on RuPaul. That is a subtle power move to try to get him to stop talking. By the way I loved that "But I'm a Cheerleader" movie.

    @hangshimkim homosexual behavior in animals refers to and includes "sex, courtship, affection, pair boding, and parenting," and is found in 1500 different species including primates. Thanks.

    Did you choose to be straight? No, you were grew up finding women attractive at a young age. Did us gays "Choose" to become gay? No, we found men or women attractive at a young age. I don't think ANYBODY would purposely CHOOSE to become a sexual orientation that is so hated and looked down upon like we're absolutely NOTHING on this Earth. Im fucking sick of it. Yes I am gay and it's not because I chose to be it's because it's what I grew up to be.

    I believe this aired in 2000. But I'm a Cheerleader was released on July 7, 2000, Rupaul mentions X-men which was released in 2000.

    @titanicwicked Thank you!!! Damnit man. Why is it that a woman and a man can love each other, get married and live happily and show that affection in public and it be insanely acceptable, but if two men show the same affection in public, people want to call the damn cops?!! Love is love! Whether it's a man and woman, man and man, or woman and woman, WE CAN'T HELP WHAT WERE ATTRACTED TO! Love is normal, is it not? An attraction to a certain someone or people is normal, is it not?

    this must have been in 2000 at least, not 1999, rupaul said he saw the movie xmen which was released in 2000, not 1999.

    I honestly don't believe that becoming or exiting the gay lifestyle is a choice. I didn't wake up one day and say "It's Monday, I'm going to turn gay and start having sex with men." You realize your gay as your grow up. It starts at a young age, and you then realize what it all means and meant as you get older. Gay, Straight, Bisexual, whatever. We are ALL HUMANS! We ALL have hearts. You straight people make us feel that because we're gay, we should be living on a different planet.

    Same with abortion. Why are they spending so much time on the unborn, when there are so many children starving and in terrible situations?

    I know right?! That lesbian director was being a little too outspoken, which I usually love, but you could tell Ru really cared about what that guy was saying especially when he talked about his friends dying of aids (although I think he exaggerated those numbers to be honest)

    @hangshimkim Before you comment on mine, you should make sure you fully comprehend what is being said. To conclude, after what I wrote, that I think everyone is a homosexual, is the most ludacris conclusion I have ever heard. I am dumfounded. I cannot even respond with a rational answer. I award you no points, and may god have mercy on your soul.

      Well, FORMER heterosexuals DO exist, don't they?

    • @cbdallas
      @cbdallas Год назад

      Going into denial about being a homosexual is not the same thing as being a former homosexual. If you were born a homosexual, you will always be one, just like if you were born with blue eyes. Choosing not to act on it also doesn't absolve you of being a homosexual. If you are one, you are one.

    @PowerDiva: TRUE! Rather than making his point he uses "facts" that any search for actual data through the CDC, etc would disprove.
