That was so awesome. Thank you so much for coming over to my living room and showing me how to process and cook a turkey. Technology is good sometimes. I learned so much. I'm doing our turkey this year and I've only done a couple of turkeys in my entire life. So I definitely took notes (but now I see you included the ingredients in your description, thank you very much). I'm headed out to my local garden (Fred Meyers) today to pick herbs and brine ingredients. My Traeger isn't big enough for spatchcocking but I love the idea of spatchcocking for sure. Wish I was there to hunt and eat with you. Sounds amazing... All of it!!!!

Your welcome anytime! We have woods full of all sorts of wild creatures and a freezer full of fun things to cook up! ;)
You can totally spatchcock your bird and cook it in the oven! Spatchcocking is so awesome, it’s an easy way to not have to worry about having your turkey possibly end up overcooked and dry on the outside and/or undercooked on the inside!

Thank you! Great info here. Welcome to Idaho from an Idaho resident of 28 years (transplanted from the Coast of WA state). We don’t miss it at all! Raised our kids here. We’re guessing you’re somewhere in N. Idaho, as are we. Have fun :)
