I wish they would've added the aftermath after he told them what happened.. since Kel even got mad at Aubrey just for pushing Basil to the lake by accident.
I kinda like it being left to our imagination it doesn’t give you a completely happy end and left you wondering if they will ever forgive him the ending is sunny willing to accept the consequences for his actions and it doesn’t show if he will be forgiven from his deed but he lets the guilt finally die so he can move on
@@billiamswartz2355 the thing is basil’s stress and guilt was mostly on lies about what happened and covering it up so he would be proud of sunny for owning up and telling the truth yes it doesn’t mean he truly is free from the pain of the incident but he finally gets to let go of the incident

It makes me a bit sad that some people appear to think MC killed her on purpose or had malicious intent or was happy about it cuz of that one smiling photo. So lemme explain why that’s not true (spoilers for the Hikikomori Route): In the alt route, in black space, it shows descriptions next to each of the photos that explain everything Sunny (MC) was thinking while everything happened. He didn’t mean to kill her - he just shoved her without thinking during a childlike tantrum. Then when he ran downstairs and she wouldn’t wake up, He dragged her back upstairs and into her bed, not comprehending what happened and thinking she needed rest and she’d wake up eventually. He was totally delirious from shock and kept thinking this must all be a bad dream. Obviously basil knew better and he just told MC “follow my lead, everything will be okay”. So MC just went along with carrying Mari’s body and hanging her, because he was too out of it to even realize what he was doing, he just followed Basil in a trance like state. He didn’t really even fully realize Basil was there. Until after the body was hanged, and Basil grabbed his hand. Then MC finally noticed that he was even there - looked up and saw Mari’s hanging body and realized what happened - and you know the rest. I agree it looks hella ominous that he appeared to be smiling but that could probably be attributed to his detachment from reality and complete lack of awareness as to what was happening. (if you’ve seen this comment before it’s cuz I copied and pasted my response to another persons comment). Edit: after re reading the part that talks about this, I just wanted to add two things that I forgot to mention: 1. Sunny/MC didn’t even mean to push her down the stairs. He just meant to push her out of the way cuz she wouldn’t let him leave while they were arguing. 2. Sunny helped carry her outside while in his delirious state, still thinking it was all a bad dream, but it was solely Basil who did the actual act of hanging
Some addendum for flavour. Dissociation can cause a massive disengagement of the brain. Somehow, BASIL was able to share his own memories with Lien (respecting the LPer's choice of PC name here), and there may actually have been SOMETHING behind how that could even happen.Which, sort of how this whole thing kicks off. Had it not been for that, it probably wouldn't have mattered what Lien's point of view was, because it would have been permanently repressed. HEAD SPACE BASIL unearths his own memory of that night and a hole into BLACK SPACE opens; the story commences as such. There's really no way out of this however, because granting Lien at that point did not become full hikikomori, he would have still had to have dealt with BASIL in real life, and SOMETHING would still get through. Honestly, after the final day, most of HEAD SPACE is probably consumed whole, which also kinda meant the end, or maybe even the beginning of a newly rebuilt HEAD SPACE with a sort of refreshed look on life. Assuming this is all played straight of course where Lien can completely live in his own head, OMORI or NOMORI.
in case anyone is wondering what the photo descriptions actually say, here they all are (in the same order as the photo album): *- Photo of a Wall:* You heard some scoffing from behind the wall, but paid it no notice. You were in no mood to focus. You were overcame. You were sick of everything. You know it wasn't a big deal, but you couldn't control yourself. *- Photo of a Broken Violin:* Your precious violin lay shattered at the bottom of the staircase. You threw it in a rage. Your fingers were shaking in pain... practicing over and over... but you still make mistakes after mistakes. This was all a bad idea. *- Photo of an Argument:* MARI was yelling at you. You couldn't understand what she was saying. She didn't understand you at all... She didn't understand that you just weren't good enough. The only thing you hold onto was your anger. This pain... was it her fault? *- Photo of a Fight:* MARI blocked your path. She says that she isn't finished talking. She tells you not to run away... but why not? You did this all for her! Why was she yelling at you? You didn't understand... *- Photo of a Murder:* You lose all sense and push her down the staircase. *- Photo of Silence:* You watched MARI crush on top of your broken violin. The sound wakes you up to nothing but silence. You called out to her, but she doesn't answer. Your heart sinks into your stomach. *- Photo of Panic:* It happened in an instant. You didn't mean to do that. Well, you did mean to push her, didn't you? It was an accident, right? You're not sure. You tremble your way down the staircase. *- Photo of Desperation:* You call her name, but she doesn't answer. You sweep the bits of wood from her body. Nothing but scratches. You turn her around and see her face. She looks asleep... but then, why isn't she answering? *- Photo of an Accomplice:* You pick up Mari and drag her up the stairs. She feels lighter than you think. She just needs to lie down in a bed... She just needs some rest... *- Photo of Disbelief:* Your heart beats out of your chest. Your head feels fuzzy. You lose vision. You push the door to the bedroom open, and make your way to her bed. She's going to be okay, right? This is just a dream, right? *- Photo of Anguish:* You call her name over and over, but she doesn't answer. You watch the light from the window cast a shadow over her face. She's expressionless. You sink your fingers into her arm, and break down into tears. *- Photo of Guilt:* You want to scream for help, but you're afraid... you mumble to yourself... what if they ask what happened? There's no way you can tell them the truth. Who would be able to forgive him? Who would believe... that it was... an accident? *- Photo of an Idea:* A whisper comes from behind you, but you ignore it. A cry comes from behind you, but you ignore it. You cover your face with your arms. This isn't real. None of this real. Why won't you wake up? *- Photo of Hopelessness:* Everything appears dark. The shadows slither around you. You don't understand what is happening... Your head starts to feel fuzzy... You sink into a crevice in your mind... an empty white room. *- Photo of Support:* Your shoulders feel heavy. A familiar voice whispers something unspeakable. Your eyes widen. It tells you to follow its lead. It says... it's the only way out... It says... that everything will be okay. *- Photo of Betrayal:* You pick up MARI's body and lift it down the staircase. She feels lighter than you think. You feel multiple eyes shift their gaze to you. You keep your eyes toward the ground. *- Photo of Hope:* You hear the sliding of a familiar door. A voice tells you to walk. A gist of wind enters the room as the light outside engulfs you. You keep your eyes toward the ground. *- Photo of a Tree:* As you face forward, you listen to the crunching of the grass and feel the coolness of the wind. You hear the leaves in the trees riffle as the sun begins to set... but you try to ignore it. It's all just a dream... *- Photo of a Branch:* You lay down MARI’s body and look up for the first time. Small rays of light shine through the cracks in the leaves. You relish in its beauty and savor the moment. You think... even if this is all real, if you keep looking at the leaves, that... everything will be okay. *- Photo of a Rope:* You hear pacing, the crunching of the grass sifting back and forth. You think you see a figure pick something off the ground, but you’re not sure. You keep staring at the leaves overhead. Everything will be okay... You think... Everything will be okay. *- Photo of Hands:* You hear shuffling. You hear dragging... and creaking... and pulling. Something is happening, but you refuse to look away from the leaves. Your head feels fuzzy again. You bite your tongue and attempt to wake up one last time, but it’s no use... You’re still here. *- Photo of a Lie:* As you and BASIL step into the house, you look back towards the trees and see it. The light engulfs it as it sways in the wind... For a moment, you feel at peace. You hate yourself for feeling this way. Is that all, then? Is everything going to be okay now? *- Photo of Legs:* You feel a cold hand clutch yours. You try to jerk away, but it squeezes back; unwilling to let you go. The hand drags you backward. You look up and see your best friend for the first time... BASIL. You see the tears falling from his tired eyes as he looks ahead. You suddenly realize that none of this is a dream. All of this is real. *- Photo of Something:* Suddenly, BASIL stops. You look up at his eyes... but this time, they’re wide awake, staring at Something. You turn your eyes toward it as well, though you wish you didn’t. An eye meets yours. Your heart sinks into your stomach. You shouldn’t have looked back... You just... shouldn’t... have looked...
Thanks for recording this. At first it was difficult for me to forgive the protagonist, because in one of the photos where he killed his sister, he is smiling, but he never really wanted to do it, then deep down he felt much pain. The part where he plays the violin and his sister the piano is a very beautiful cinematic, uff.
I feel like those were not actual photos, just Basil's memory and how he remembered everything unfolding. I don't think the protag actually smiled there
@@anayomieda About the photos, I think you are right, that photos are more like memories of Basel. Basil was denying the fact that the protagonist kills his sister with a malicious intention, he thought that maybe it was not what it seemed, so it is rare that Basel has had a memory where a small contrary fact is shown (the protagonist with a small smile in front of her dead sister). Whatever happened, the protagonist lamented after that, but still, I felt difficult to forgive the character for his actions in the beginning, but that beautiful cutscene at the good end changes things a bit.
Yeah I’m not sure why it’s drawn like he’s smiling. If you were to do the alternate route, it explains everything Sunny (MC) was thinking while everything happened. He didn’t mean to kill her - he just shoved her without thinking during a childlike tantrum. Then when he ran downstairs and she wouldn’t wake up, He dragged her back upstairs and into her bed, not comprehending what happened and thinking she needed rest and she’d wake up eventually. My god.... although this is the happiest ending, I still feel emotionally crushed anyway. This has been such a trip. Thanks so much for all of your recordings! You really uploaded them so fast. Does anything happen if you click "continue"?
thank you for doing this playthrough. I want to show this to my mother since I feel like she would like this story :) edit: watching it with my mother! my dad joined since he liked what I told him about the game. We're on episode 4. My mom says it's very depressive but she likes it haha. Since my mom can't read English very well I'm translating it to Spanish as we watch. It's fun :). edit2: Just ended episode 8 with my parents. They love how the story is presented and they seem engaged with the mysteries surrounding the Dream World. They really aren't ready for what's coming, heheh. We're going to watch until episode 11 next time since the last 3 episodes will have to be watched in one sitting without skipping the rpg elements of the game. Thank you again for helping me show this game to my parents!
Thank you for uploading this series with no commentary. Overall, I'm torn. On one hand, the presentation, artwork, character design, etc are all great. On the other hand, it uses a lot of really cliche story and gameplay tropes despite delving into some very dark and serious topics. It also doesn't answer some of the more baffling or important questions of the story. Still fairly solid overall though.
@@OkaPutra_ I agree, it's nothing radical game-wise, although I'd bump it up to above average for the presentation/design alone. With a few improvements to the battle system and some story beats/characterization, it would've really been amazing. I'd still say it's worth its price point overall though.
@@glitchyglitchy3925 I think my main gripe with this game is that a lot of the dream sequences feel a bit too inconsequential. They are fine by themselves and can be entertaining for a bit, but most of it doesn't really affect the main plot in a meaningful way (aside from the ending, obviously). I am also somewhat torn on the characters. I like the main ones and the interactions between them in the dream and irl. But the side ones are kinda shallow, even Basil and Mari feel a bit off sometimes, like there should be more scenes to flesh them out. Overall, I think it was pretty good, I honestly wasn't as hyped as my teen self was when the first teaser got released, so my expectations weren't that high.
@@erosamurimdeassis4973 I can't comment on the dream sequence bit since I'm not sure which exact scenes you're referring to, but I do wish Basil and Mari had a little more development, especially Basil. Dream Basil really stands out along with Omori (Omori is completely black&white, Basil is very vibrant and colorful), so I was surprised he didn't appear much at all. Same with real world Basil, who's so integral to the story but hardly gets any scenes. It would've been nice to see more of their friendship so we can learn how things escalated so much during the catalyst and the last fight with Basil. I didn't learn about this game until very recently, so I had no expectations at all lol. Maybe that's why I'm pretty mellow about it. I can imagine people who waited years might feel differently.
I feel like there are so many things missing. I mean, I wanted to see everyone’s reaction when he told the truth. Want to know if during the time at the hospital they all stayed together, healing from the guilt and regrets (because I find it “meh” that Basil darkness disappeared after MC said the truth and smiled at him). And why did MC push Mari down the stair? Did she break the violin? Why did she break the violin? Who had the idea of faking her death? Basil? Why fake her death? Why not call the hospital? SO MANY QUESTIONS I loved this tho. I always prefer watching these kind of games without commentary or people talking over the scenes or talking for 10 minutes doing nothing because they didn’t understand something that has yet to be revealed. Thank you for the journey
@@TC127_ after writing this comment I found out more things. And Basil didn't hang her alone, Omori helped him drag her to the tree. In the game files there are the description of the black space photo album, that reveals what really happened. Like, Basil didn't do everything as Sunny was sleeping, Sunny helped Basil drag Mari down the stairs. And the glass door with the curtain is because he closes it after hanging Mari, which symbolizes him hiding the truth.
This isn’t shown in game but I think this is how each character’s reaction went judging from the evidence Ive seen so far. When they first heard the truth they were obviously broken and left the MC and Basil alone (This explains the moment Basil and the MC have in which they become free of their guilt and trauma). I believe later on, Aubrey could be the first one to forgive the MC because she almost went through the same thing, she pushed Basil (It was meant to only be a shove just like the MC meant to only shove Mari, both of them did not intend to kill the other) and since she experienced a similar thing she would understand and forgive him. Kel and Hero, judging from how they firstly, blinded by emotion, criticized Aubrey for almost getting Basil killed even though she kept saying it was meant to be a push and then they later forgive her acknowledging her doing being unintentional tells us Kel and Hero forgive the MC as well. Also if you are still doubtful of them forgiving the MC, know that if his friends hadn’t forgiven him, they would obviously accuse him of manslaughter and he would go to jail. But that is not the case, in the ending credits he’s in a car. Hence I’d say they did forgive him.
@@tp7033 i agree with most of what you said except for the last part, for the sake of the story its probaly worth not thinking too hard on the justice system part of things as in real life he would have been caught almost right away with even the most cursory foresnics examination and coroner report. blood and hair would have been found around the bottom of the stairs as well as his and basils clothes, as well as bruises on maris body from the fall and a potentially cracked skull. so yeah its probably just best to ignore those things for the sake of narrative. but yeah i imagine they forgived him as it makes most thematic sense
@@SmokeyDope Well actually, You talking about realism reminds me of something, Sunny’s father says “I have no son” while chopping down the tree and his mother also makes phone calls saying “He is my only son” implying they both knew about Sunny being responsible for her death which was obvious because of, like you said blood and hair found around the stairs. Only his friends were fooled. His parents were not.
I've been watching this since your first playthrough cuz i can't rlly purchase the game, and i wanted to find gameplay without commentary, and you popped up in my search bar, and ever since then I've been watching them. Ty for making the vids :D
Just binge watching your omori walkthrough and dang that last scene when omori and mari play the song just make me burst in tears wth- thanks for recrding this walkthrough skdsjkdhsj
Thank you so much for the amazing walkthrough! I've been a fan of this game from the first announcement and I waited several years for the release but wasn't able to play it myself due to my laptop breaking down, so it's such a blessing to find this! There's a certain emptiness about the ending's execution in spite of the moving moments in the cg, but if I have to offer my own interpretation of it I would say that Basil's smile at the end is a quiet understanding and trust of MC's preparedness; to speak about the truth once and for all. In the same manner, the epilogue (or rather the lack thereof) in a way is the game trusting it's audience to know the characters well to be able to tell how they would feel. Narratively it feels a bit loose in the ends, but after my attachment to this game, it's more than enough for me. That being said, thank you once again! I hope you had fun with omori too!
must be suck man didnt play the 6 year game development:(((, yeah i think in story wise there's soo much plothole but still im enjoying the game. Last but not least thanks for watching!
From this game I learned one thing. That thing being... The nicest people are always the ones with the most problems. So meaning that, When times are tough, and life drags you to the ground The best thing to do is to try to be positive. And even in troubled times, Make sure you're still nice to everyone around you But don't forget you're alive too. You deserve kindness too (Whether) that be(ing) from others and/or yourself. But in the end, The big question is _"Am I one of those people?"_
Honestly this is the best game i've ever seen.. never expected myself to be crying because of a horror game. i dive into this playthrough completely blind and it gave me such amazing experience. The plottwist, the heartbreaking ending, just out of this world. Thankyou for the uploads man:)
I feel sad cuz everyone’s crying in the corner and it feels like I’m the only one who’s not crying :( I really liked the game and found the ending very deep and emotional but idk why it doesn’t reach the “limit” y’know
im not really one to cry at things, in fact i often feel heartless or robotic even because i can't cry or express my emotions when i should be so you're not alone.
Yeah I don't really cry at this stuff but it was very emotional for sure. Absolutely love this game and absolutely see myself revisiting it. Maybe playing it for myself at some point if I ever get the money to.
SOBS. thank you so much for this walkthrough! it's been great to watch and as far as I know, has been the best so far, and fast- i dont know what i wouldve done without finding yours.
The fight between sunny and omori reminds me of some quotation that says “you and yourself is your worst enemy” not the exact sentence but it means something like that... We face challenges everyday so, i hope you guys make yourself your own ally and not your enemy :) hope it makes sense...
The scariest part is that we don't know much about OMOCAT, the person who made this game, all we know is that she made welcomics with a pseudonym, omocat
oh my fucking god. this game is incredible. after having finished this, it's insane to me how on the surface it looks like a cutesy undertale-esque rpg. it is heartbreaking. it is soul cutting. it's an emotional roller coaster where i come out feeling disjointed. it's a shame i will never see this game unravel for the first time ever again. thank you for recording and uploading it. i will 100% be purchasing this game after having experienced it. what a ride.
LAST PART LES GOOOOOO Kel act like color pink is some weird ass bug lmaoo 7:30 awe 👀 Bruh tbh I kinda already spoiled myself w the recital part but MAN IT STILL GIVE ME FEELS
The fighting was very dark... (both by visual and the actual mentions of it, you can just, feel and see it in your head). That ending though, was something that I was waiting for!! (My fav part is the song/music part and the part where SOMETHING disappears). ^^
Ok but really, watching you finish the game got me thinking a lot about all the prior scenes and unanswered questions. Like that one scene where the moms like "she was my only daughter, but you're my only son" which kinda made me wonder if the mom knew it wasn't a suicide? Which lead me to wonder where their dad went off to, he didnt appear at all as far as i can recall. Did he know anything as well? Or did he split after the tragedy? Thats just the main one in mind but yeah! The game kept its secrets for sure, but overall it was fun to watch!
In one cutscene, that you can or can't get we see a father saying "You aren't my son... Why aren't you the one who fell..." So I think father didn't forgive him and left.
44:55 Fun Fact: In Japanese, "shine" means "die". Also consider the fact that in the song, the word "shine" is stretched beyond one syllable. In Japanese, the word "shine" would be bisyllabic, i.e. "shi-ne".
thanks for playing omori. because of my mental health i couldn't buy it but i just waited so much for it like at the starts of the proyect and well just came out and found your videos the end was so beautiful, i loved it thank you so much.
thank you so much for posting this walkthrough ! im not very good with rpgs as i often get stuck and this helped me so much, i dont know what i wouldve done without these videos, i probably wouldnt have been able to complete the game.. so im really, really grateful ! i hope you have an amazing day
oh my god you got the extra cutscene at the end, even though it showed all the flowers were dead as you were walking towards basil's house in the 12th ep? is it supposed to do that OO: i was really upset seeing that all of them died after humphrey even though i watered them fairly consistently.. but is there hope ?
oh god im sobbing so much rn;;;; i shouldn't have got attached to basil this much;;;;;;;;;; anyway!! tysm for uploading this walkthrough!! looking forward your other walkthroughs (if you plan on making more in the future)♪
I really thought this game would be more scary than sad. But its just really depressing- Man I loved it! Thanks for recording this and putting it on youtube. Now everyone can enjoy it. This game gave me the feels, lots of plot twists and a great story. The characters made me cry and I see that they all share the same pain yet chose to stay apart. I got really happy when they finally saw each other. Overall real good story. The ending really broke me- But I'd say that was a good cry.
I'VE BEEN PLAYING OMORI AND I HAD THIS RUNNING I DIDN'T KNOW THIS WAS RUNNING SO THE WHOLE TIME I WAS JUST LIKE "Why do I hear different music?" AND I THOUGHT IT WAS A GAME THING man I'm so stupid Thanks for the walkthroughs though!
It’s 12 am rn I’ve been waiting for this game to come out for a long ass time not knowing what tf it was gonna entail. Good god if I ain’t cryin rn (I ain’t cryin rn I’m cryin in spirit) good ass gameplay my guy
beautiful. fucking beautiful. depression starts to come in, but it feels weird. like... they have such emotions... welp. this is something I'd love to do.
I liked this game more then I care to admit. It was beautiful and I love the portrayal of the inner voice that’s unbearably cruel, and instead of defeating it, giving that voice the love it deserves. That voice in your head that’s mean comes from a place of pain, and although it inflicts harm, if you treat it kindly, embrace it, it will eventually fade. I think all children are worthy of love. I hope Sunny made you realize that.
20:00-21:00 - Geez, I actually did cry a tiny bit at this point... :( I remember the darkly, tragic music, but somehow I forgot all about the new skills, and trying to remember what his friends said to him, in the Real World no less, that they DO actually still care about him, regardless of what his inner demon and self-loathing depression in Omori says to him (Sunny)... Aubrey's in particular... that gets to me. :(
7:20 when we entered her house, her dad wasn't there, was he...? And she finally died her hair pink but... Ahh, this game makes my heart ache too much for my own good
As wholesome as this ending is and as happy as I am for Sunny and his friends moving on. And learning the truth and all. Getting closer to and finishing this game has left me feeling so empty. Despite how this is the best ending, if anything the start of something new, for everyone.
i just finished watching all your omori gameplay! i really prefer watching story games like this without commentary :-) UHUH I CRIED A LOT AS WELL :'] thank you for uploading these!
thanks for the gameplay. i had to saw your gameplay because im.not that good at playing, got stuck at sweetheart's boss. But im glad I buyed it because that way we can support Omocat. Everyone watching this gameplay for free, remember to buy it too so u can support the creator
14:40 - Sigh... I wish someone would say that to me... these days, I feel like some people even at their best can easily turn 180 and self-righteous to anyone they think is bad in some way or other, and not forgive others for any mistake they make... This is how I basically lost everyone I ever trusted whether or not I did anything wrong... I don't even remember being that toxic. ._. I never made any amends with anyone I used to know... than again, I never met anyone in real life, just online, but at the same time, I was just like Sunny for people like Aubrey, arguably being more important than some people they knew at the time, talking and talking for hours, sharing all sorts of stuff about each other... I can't... even remember how I did that anymore and how to make that kind of conversation flow smoothly... I think... There's a lot of other people though who are either too busy or just not interested in what I have to say and don't ever really want to talk... Sigh... :( To not be bad just because you did something bad... I wish people could see it that way... You know, believe it or not, but if one gets to the end of a series like Higurashi of all things, if not Umineko, they actually say stuff like this too. :p That series really got to me, hearing something like that... that the past should be in the past and doesn't make someone irredeemably evil... and that it might actually not be that important to know every single thing about someone even if their your best friend and then judge them for that... It's hard to believe in true empathy like this from anyone anymore...
Soouhhh what should I play next ?
I mean you could do the other routes but that's fine if you don't want to
Yeah, are you going to do the hikkikomori route?
Maybe try the bad ending?
maybe will do the other ending and more proper walkthrough hehe, after semester test lol

It makes me a bit sad that some people appear to think MC killed her on purpose or had malicious intent or was happy about it cuz of that one smiling photo. I agree it looks hella ominous that he appeared to be smiling but that could probably be attributed to his detachment from reality and complete lack of awareness as to what was happening.
(if you’ve seen this comment before it’s cuz I copied and pasted my response to another persons comment).
Edit: after re reading the part that talks about this, I just wanted to add two things that I forgot to mention:
1. Sunny/MC didn’t even mean to push her down the stairs. He just meant to push her out of the way cuz she wouldn’t let him leave while they were arguing.
2. Sunny helped carry her outside while in his delirious state, still thinking it was all a bad dream, but it was solely Basil who did the actual act of hanging
now that u said it, it making me even more sad holy fuck
STOP MAKING ME CRY
Also the fact Mari has a bad knee, Sunny probably didn't even push her that hard
Assuming this is all played straight of course where Lien can completely live in his own head, OMORI or NOMORI.
in case anyone is wondering what the photo descriptions actually say, here they all are (in the same order as the photo album):
*- Photo of a Wall:* You heard some scoffing from behind the wall, but paid it no notice.
See you OMORI...
You're gonna carry that weight...
:((
SOBBING VIOLENTLY IN THIS CHILIS TONIGHT
bruh same
Thanks for recording this.
@@Mandarina_Areli Basil was the one who hung Mari's body so Sunny/Lien wouldn't take the blame.
@@amunetxo627 thanks for this that really cleared some stuff up for me
My god.... although this is the happiest ending, I still feel emotionally crushed anyway. This has been such a trip.

thanks for watchingg
thank you for doing this playthrough. I want to show this to my mother since I feel like she would like this story :)
edit: watching it with my mother! my dad joined since he liked what I told him about the game.
Still fairly solid overall though.
i think the game is decent but its not that good, sometimes combat bit tedious lol.
@@erosamurimdeassis4973 yeah I was pretty bored tbh with the battle system
"Games can't hurt you" they said
I may not be crying, but I need a pause to breathe and actually take in what just happened
I dont event have tears left
I feel like there are so many things missing. I mean, I wanted to see everyone’s reaction when he told the truth. Want to know if during the time at the hospital they all stayed together, healing from the guilt and regrets (because I find it “meh” that Basil darkness disappeared after MC said the truth and smiled at him). And why did MC push Mari down the stair? Did she break the violin? Why did she break the violin? Who had the idea of faking her death? Basil? Why fake her death? Why not call the hospital?
SO MANY QUESTIONS
I loved this tho.
In the game files there are the description of the black space photo album,
that reveals what really happened. Like, Basil didn't do everything as Sunny was sleeping, Sunny helped Basil drag Mari down the stairs. And the glass door with the curtain is because he closes it after hanging Mari, which symbolizes him hiding the truth.
@@TC127_ yeah, this game is too amazing. I love the amount of secrets

Nice I was waiting for this episode after you posted episode 13, thanks for the vids
Thanks for watching broo
that "see you omori..." at the end was a really nice touch :)
So meaning that,
When times are tough, and life drags you to the ground
The best thing to do is to try to be positive.
And even in troubled times,
Make sure you're still nice to everyone around you
But don't forget you're alive too.
You deserve kindness too
(Whether) that be(ing) from others and/or yourself.
But in the end,
The big question is
_"Am I one of those people?"_
Honestly this is the best game i've ever seen.. never expected myself to be crying because of a horror game. i dive into this playthrough completely blind and it gave me such amazing experience. The plottwist, the heartbreaking ending, just out of this world. Thankyou for the uploads man:)
I feel sad cuz everyone’s crying in the corner and it feels like I’m the only one who’s not crying :(
I really liked the game and found the ending very deep and emotional but idk why it doesn’t reach the “limit” y’know
@Ribeiro Lis Thank you, I feel a bit less lonely now
im not really one to cry at things, in fact i often feel heartless or robotic even because i can't cry or express my emotions when i should be so you're not alone.
Me too, and Im emotional. Still, the game couldnt have delivered the feels better.
Same I loved the story it was very deep but I didn't cry
Me during this video:
40% being confused
10% saying “awww they’re so happy!”
50% bawling my eyes out
The scariest part is that we don't know much about OMOCAT, the person who made this game, all we know is that she made welcomics with a pseudonym, omocat
oh my fucking god. this game is incredible. after having finished this, it's insane to me how on the surface it looks like a cutesy undertale-esque rpg. it is heartbreaking. it is soul cutting. it's an emotional roller coaster where i come out feeling disjointed. it's a shame i will never see this game unravel for the first time ever again.
thank you for recording and uploading it. i will 100% be purchasing this game after having experienced it. what a ride.

Bruh tbh I kinda already spoiled myself w the recital part but MAN IT STILL GIVE ME FEELS
The fighting was very dark... (both by visual and the actual mentions of it, you can just, feel and see it in your head). That ending though, was something that I was waiting for!! (My fav part is the song/music part and the part where SOMETHING disappears). ^^
indeed
Yes, his parents knew it
@@Cat-magician-n9n wait in which cutscene?

also, when we find the first aid kit (which is put there by the mom), it’s right next to the stairs.

Fun Fact: In Japanese, "shine" means "die". Also consider the fact that in the song, the word "shine" is stretched beyond one syllable. In Japanese, the word "shine" would be bisyllabic, i.e. "shi-ne".
I think you are overthinking it wtf
Its just so the melody and lyrics would match up man-

I liked this game more then I care to admit. It was beautiful and I love the portrayal of the inner voice that’s unbearably cruel, and instead of defeating it, giving that voice the love it deserves.
That voice in your head that’s mean comes from a place of pain, and although it inflicts harm, if you treat it kindly, embrace it, it will eventually fade.
I think all children are worthy of love. I hope Sunny made you realize that.

Sigh... :(
To not be bad just because you did something bad...
