@@diffydude9083 you can say the same thing about every single guest character from every single season. you can also say the same thing about Rita or Doaks because they were written out eventually lmao
@@TheEroina Doakes got two whole seasons and they couldn't have someone who knew about Dexter around for that long, and Rita dying was important for Dexter's character development. Making Lumen leave just made me feel like she was using Dexter.

Season 5 was a legit underrated season, overlooked and hated because it followed the best season of the show, season 4 with Trinity. I wish Deb found out in season 5 to end it to give it a bigger climax, but if you consider seasons 5-8, the 2nd half of the original run, season 5 was the best one.
Loved Jordan as a villain and the scene where Emily tries to touch his hand and he looks sorta uncomfortable and doesn't reciprocate despite the fact he's actively trying to manipulate her into doing what he wants really intrigues me tbh when I first saw it I kinda wondered if he was possibly a sexual abuse victim himself and that's why he never actually assaulted the victims himself because something in his mind is broken so he has sadistic tendencies but he also has deep seated Trauma that prevents him from being able to actually be sexually intimidate with someone. hence why Emily doing this appeared to make him flat out uncomfortable idk it was just a theory I came up with the first time I watched season 5.
Nah, Oliver Saxon aka The Brain Surgeon is the worst. I'd say he's the 3rd worst of the original runs main antangonists, maybe on par with Miguel Prado.
@@H.K.5 Saxton was an idiot, that's why he was so easy to trap, because he was so predictable. The only reason he posed any "threat" was because the writers really dropped the ball on Dexter making some painfully stupid decisions. Chase is different and may not be on par with Trinity, Rudy, Doakes or Kurt as far as antagonists go, but he's still a solid and unique villain.
“I know that guys clearly a freak but, I don’t know him.. Lumen talking about Masuka😂😂😂
4:18 Poor Masuka catching strays.... 🤣
Masuka deserves all the strays
11:34
yall really skipped the "goodbye, Lumen". That was the best part of the scene.
I was so disappointed they skipped that lol
8:17
They also cut Dexter tossing Cole's head. What is wrong with them.
Not to mention that's how they finished the episode.
Underrated villain from a underrated season
overrated villain
dude was a "life coach", come on
the season is great though
I know! People say only season 1-4 is good but I thought season 5 was one of the best
“When you mess up it makes me feel better about me” top masuka line
The barrel girls was a pretty underrated arc.
That was one of the deaths that haunted me after watching this series
@@kingkev6338the Trinity Killer killing Rita kind of traumatize me after watching the show
@ Rita didn’t deserve that shit!!!!
season 5 was way better then season 4
Yeah it was definitely the most jarring, with Trinity a close second. A lot of people don't need to like it.
Unpopular opinion: Chase was a worthy opponent for Dexter and season 5 was a great follow up season to the bombshell ending of 4.
Chase & lumen were amazing
7:33 "like your chief of security's head is in my luggage"
this line is just so hilarious to me
Lumen was a 50x better written character then Hannah and made much more sense to be with Dexter instead of Hannah.
Hannah didn't end up being with Dexter anyway.
@@TheEroinayeah dexter decided to die and reincarnate as a lumberjack lool
Lumen was such a waste of a character. Made an entire season about her and wrote her out.

Aside from the cringey tick tick tick, Jordan was a good antagonist for me😂
Agreed I thought he was a pretty solid antagonist. Although I liked the tick tick tick.
Ong
It’s so bad
Hey it’s you
He's basically the dark reflection of Clock King if Dexter is Batman

I hope we see Lumen again in Dexter Resurrection.
Me too! I'd love to know what she has been doing up until that point.
Wont happen most likely
i cant believe the bay harbour was the james doakes butcher
Season 1 might be the best but 5 was pretty damn awesome and unique.
Day 1 of asking for a compilation of literally every time Deb cursed
Bring back Lumen in the next season or at least mention her PLEASE

I loved this season
Season 5 was the best season! ❤ Idc what others say as well!
I love that Jordan's justification for forcing Dexter on stage is exactly the same as a rapist's justification for rape.
TAKE IT‼❕
American Sherlock has gone off the rails.
"Do you hear me!!!" Chills.
Out of everything in this video that’s what you comment on? 💀 that was the corniest line I’ve ever heard 😭💀
Season 5 is the best season, idc what anyone says.
season 1, 2, and 4 are better imo
@@lol-em6bj3 is my favorite it’s always overlooked😭
That's a big exaggeration, but I think Season 5 would have served well as a good finale for Dexter!
Season 6 are bad as hell
There's only one Dexter. The original, and first Dexter.❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
He was basically immune to damage by having 10 bodyguards but chosed to go outside alone knowing 2 crazy people want to kill him
We need more “kill room” episodes
Take it 🗣️🔥

Anybody knows what kind of nice watch they actually had Jordan Chase wear?
Rolex Submariner
Nice 👌
tick tick tick
is he Sherlock Holmes?
yes
Lumen has always been my least favorite character.
no, not the bald guy
Portner cord
I love you
Cour 4 hasn’t come out yet so I am hoping by the time of this game release will get it if not might being going off the manga ending.

Travis Marshall was a far worse villain, you are being dense.
