I've gotten used to the traffic and driving in Dr, when I first started driving I was driving like I do in NYC, I quickly found out that's not the way to go lol, but I do try to be a good driver, I don't take the lights, I do let people in.

It's definitely a test of patience when you've experienced what proper driving looks like, but you do what you know is right & try to stay safe out there as much as possible

thanks for the videos man, feels good to see the city I grew up in. Seen a couple of the buildings that were there when I lived there, takes me back 😆

You live there year round? How the weather in SD in November? Thanks

I've been here many times & used to live here too. I'd say the weather is mostly consistent throughout the year, ranging from 26 - 33 degrees celcius on any given day. Humidity is definitely a big factor too. In November it can get a bit milder, temperatures can get a little cooler 22 - 28 degrees or so. Thanks for watching!

Es lamentable, pero es bueno crear conciencia & hacer nuestra parte, por lo menos.

In thailand they say most if the deaths are moterbike deaths. Is it the same in the dr? I wouldn't want to be riding in that weather and traffic you are showing in this video.

It would make sense motorcycles would be more likely to die than someone in a car, by the simple fact the motorbike rider is more exposed. There are many motorcycle riders in DR roads at any given time, anything from food delivery to private use to law enforcement authorities ride bikes.

I'd would like to answer that question myself since it was my reality, you can't even imagine how many people I have lost in our roads, and yeah it's the main cause of death in my country, the saddest thing is our authorities don't do anything about it. Riders don't wear helmet outside of downtow in the main cities, I was one 9f them but it's like living in India and believe in Ganges river which is one of most contaminated river on earth but the river is sacred for them.
