Moore Overland Expo 2024, A Storytellers Adventure, and Why You Should Go!

The Moore Overland and Off Road Expo, a Storytellers experience, and why you should go! April found Matt and I pulling my camper out of storage and preparing Matts camper for its maiden trip. It started off a little moist, thunderstorms, from Nebraska to Springfield Missouri. Once we arrived the weather became very pleasant. The first night all the Storytellers, social media creators, were treated to an amazing dinner by Roller Cam. After dinner we sat through a presentation from NCMEC (National Center for Missing and Exploited Children). NCMEC is a nonprofit company that helps missing and exploited children. Amazingly something close to $0.92 cents of each dollar of support goes to the children, not other costs… If you would like to learn more, please check out the link below. After some socializing it was time for bed. The next morning, we woke up to a beautiful sunrise and the smell of the Storytellers making breakfast. When it was time Matt and I headed into the event to check out the venders. This is so helpful for new to the hobby people and some more seasoned Overlanders. We can get hands on with new and exciting equipment and kit for your adventures, then ask the venders all the questions that a catalog or online store struggle to answer. Matt and I met up with some long-time friends of the Channel at the Devos booth where they make and sell the best camp light that we have ever used. Then we headed over to meet another vendor that left a lifelong mark on Dunnage Garage, All Roads Taken. All Roads Taken makes badges for your vehicle, or wherever you would like to display them. They currently have badges for all 50 states, many of the National and State Parks, popular off-road trails and OHV parks / Events. They also have the option for you to nominate badges. I really enjoyed spending time in the All Roads Taken booth and I look forward to displaying the badges on the Jeep.
Over the two-day event we explored all the booths, some several times. We also spent time visiting with some of the viewers and subscribers to Dunnage Garage, and other RUclips Creators.
