Welcome aboard!
Just found your channel and immediately subscribed. it’s hard to find good videos of classic bikes! Thanks for the amazing content
Welcome aboard! Hope you enjoy the ride!
Great bike. I hope you gave the lady a fair price! You knew what you were buying!
I did!
Saw your bike @ Born Free. Amazing bike! Great build
Man that is so cool. Great video. I love seeing it back together. It's just a little older than me and I think it's in better condition.
You and me both!
I restored a '50 Thunderbird. Used nothing but but NOS and OEM parts, except the wiring and the exhaust. I see the nacelle is missing. I even found a NOS Lucas MT-110 taillight, and a NOS Lycett seat. Love the color "thunder blue" won first place at Mid-Ohio Vintage Days. edit: I also used NOS front and rear fenders, Hollowed out the original Lucas battery and inserted a new 6 volt battery.
Very cool!
I have a 57 that was turned into a chopper. It needs someone to clean it up and get it going again. Not sure I have the knowledge or time. Love watching your videos and learning about these Triumph pre units.
Right on
I have a 51 bobber I am building ,love the pre units!
Awesome! I would love to see photos!
I have a 52 Thunderbird bobber I'm building. Do you have a contact number if I can ask for questions? Love the channel!
Great channel bud, just found you , I have a 55 tiger 110 just need the weather to get better. Greetings from the uk.
Thanks and welcome
A rustoration, just enough to get it roadworthy, and keep the patina.
Incredible find, if only this was located before “Rusty”, as it sits looks like a great candidate for a restoration. Majority of hard to find parts are there. She needs work but will ride again.
Your gonna need a motorcycle barn in your backyard. I say hold onto it and restore it.
Greetings from New Zealand...have frame no. 5990 N ...been gathering parts for over 12 years now...have a '62 T'bird motor to use until a suitable lh crankcase can be located so that the correct year motor can be installed....have you still got this one???? It's been 9 months.....is it about to be reborn? ....lol
Unfortunately I passed this on to a local restorer. He is doing a mechanical restoration and is going to leave all the original patina!
You are a sick sick man.....two indicators,#1 you love Triumph& you have some room in that garage!!
In same boat sort of. Partially disassembled my '78 Bonny in '83 with 17k on the clock. Was 33yrs then. Now at 72. Last year of Kickstart& square body Amals . Like that uncle I have told all that I will get it back up and running. Wonder if I will make it?
How is your daughter's 500cc coming along?
Its going great new video dropping soon!
Been pumped means something totally different in the UK!
Whats that?
@@weemsmotorco How do I put this delicately! Have you ever watched a prison film and they say don't drop the soap in the shower!
Just found your vid...very cool...im also in the process of finding parts for a 56 650 Thunderbird. I need the engines left side complete clutch, and cover. Do you have extra parts to sell? if not i understand.
I have quite a few! What do you need?
Thunderbirds are w o e.
They are Awesome!
I had a 51 thunderbird with 6 inch over forks and purple metal flake paintjob I got off my dad's cousin
You no they make those ice pops with alcohol in them 🤔
You like old triumph bikes. Have you ever tried to kick start a matchless 600
I have not! I have kicked a 500cc AJS though!
@@weemsmotorco the kickback has broken a few legs if not done properly.
Sounds like a BSA 441!
How about an old 441 Victor. Will launch you to the moon
Yo Weems, David Mann replica (raffle) on loan to you for the Born Free Motorsickle show ?
Yup, we are doing a few more shows then it is being donated to Barber Motorsports Museum
@@weemsmotorco I had a ticket, had I won it, it would have been a daily rider. Barber will be a great home for a Great Build. That's quite a Feather in your Cap. CONGRATZ. You Meet the Nicest People on a Honda. Keep the Shiny Side Up
