You know who, Aaron and Claire ^_^ I have their vids running on my iPad when I'm making their dishes and enjoy the hilarious commments about adding eggs because he lives with a hungry bird xD
I have a request. Would it be possible to do a whole series on types of noodles, how to cook them properly, and the recipes to use then in? Such as, rice noodles and a few recipes, wheat noodles and a few recipes, egg noodles and a few recipes, etc.
I just tried making the ground beef gochujang recipe, I modified it a wee bit (1tbsp gochugaru, 2tbsp sugar, & 1tsp fish sauce) and had it over rice with some scrambled eggs. It tasted divine, I am so happy that I found your channel. I can't wait to try more recipes, especially with gochujang. Thanks for the amazing content and recipes.
I'm so glad that I've found Your channel. I cherish cooking and I wanted to learn Korean cuisine for so long since it is literally calling me with all those delicious sounding and looking dishes! 😋 I've just ordered myself an arsenal of Korean products to begin with and can't wait to recreate Your recipes - their presentation is just scrumptious, I'm eating with my eyes and my taste buds respond. Every dish looks absolutely delicious! Also I love the way You conduct these videos and the humor of Yours. Warm greetings from Poland to both of You guys! 😊
If Claire had a channel that taught korean... just saying... I'd join. I try to pick up what I can, but I think she'd be a great teacher, and then we can use your videos as practice 😊
I make mac and cheese with gochujang and kimchi, you will thank me later. I call it Mac and Kimcheese. its my style of american and korean fusion. I fell in love gochujang and samjang while living in korea, its my goto sauce.
Sounds yummy☺️ I make Aaron’s beef bulgogi for my meal preps and use southern style cabbage in place of the kimchi in my bowls. I call it Korea meets the South😋
I went out and bought the fish cakes and rice cakes today and made the tteokbokki. I loved it! The texture of the rice cakes is especially satisfying to bite into.
When I'm with Aaron, I trust him and I never worry about anything. Now when I cook with my girlfriend, I always say "Trust me!", "Don't worry about it!", "Chop up this bad boy!".
Can you make a similar compilation for Doenjang and Chunjang as well? I've made Ssamjang and Dakbokkeumtang with Doenjang so far, and of course I used Chunjang for Jjajangmyeon, but I'm always open for new recipes.
Aaron and Claire I just bought your book. Hopefully I can get you sign it someday. I used to be stationed in Camp Humphreys, PyonTaek. I miss Korea. Anyway, You Rock!
I LOVE tteokbokki like crazy, but I've only ever had it as an "instant" cup meal or premade sauce. I finally found the rice cakes and an Asian store (as well as the sauce as at that time I didn't know it would be easy too make) but I got fish balls instead of fish cake. Will this make a huge difference? Will it destroy the tteokbokkiness of the dish or will it be ok? I love your channel and you guys make it such fun to watch and engae with the videos. Thank you for sharing you knowledge and wisdom with us all!! Peace and Love from Australia
The recipes look amazing. Can you teach us how you cook the soft boiled eggs. Please!! Thank you, Aaron. Claire, you are blessed to have a husband who cooks such wonderful food for you. So blessed.❤
If from fridge I do 7 mins then straight into cold water/ice bath. If room temp eggs 6 to 6.5 mins. Gently swirl eggs around pot for first few mins it helps yolk stay in centre. Personally I prefer tteokbokki with hard boiled eggs
Another great vid, interesting to see how much your editing and production skills have improved over 6 years, watched one from then your knife skills got great too!🙂
I'm half Korean and grew up in Korean for the first ten years of my life. Recipes are spot on! Love Clare. What's her story ? Her English is really good. Just really curious.
I’m for sure every girls that come watch your channel, will say the same that you are the most lucky girl that have the best husband always cook yummy and healthy food for you 😊 I’m jealous 😢❤❤
😋solo con gli occhi deve essere una squisitezza...... ❤..... però al posto dei semi di sesamo tritati cosa si può utilizzare? purtroppo sono allergica 😓
"if it's your wifes birthday, then use a blender. She's gonna love you more" Some things are just universal 😊 I can't source those ricecakes. Now I've seen a hack making them with rolled up rice paper. Does anybody know whether that actually will work?
It actually works. lol We actually made a video about that, so if you missed it, please check out our “rice paper tteokbokki” video! 😁ruclips.net/video/QR8oTndW-80/видео.html
Thank you for the amazing recipes ❤I have just one little question. I always see videos about making Tteokbokki but every time fresh ones are used and all I can get are the ones from fridge in my asian grocery store. They are not flexible at all and quite hard unlike the ones in the video. Is there a tip how to make them more soft and chewy like fresh ones? Much love to you and Claire 😊
If you rinse the refrigerated ones and add them to the sauce they will become soft and chewy. Just make sure there is enough liquid because they soak up quite a bit and release a lot of starch into the sauce.
Been waiting for this moment. Our gochujang is just sitting here 😅 Btw, i realized there are lots of different kinds gochugaru. Which one will i choose for kimchi, which ones are for chili oil and which ones are for regular cooking?
I've spent so much money watching your videos, then running down to H Mart to try to replicate your recipe. Those jerks at H Mart should be sponsoring your channel! Make it so!

Could you air fry the chicken wings and then at the end cook it in the sauce on the stove? Or does it have to be cooked in the oil in the pan because of the cornstarch?
Sorry, couldn’t find a good one for small portion. 🥲😭You can search Korean beef stock powder (dasida) on amazon or I suggest you try your local asian grocery store for a small portion. 🙏
Aaron, my family loves he flavor of Samyang's Buldak Spicy Chicken stir-fried ramen. This stir-fried ramen was the star dish served in the TV show "Jinny's Kitchen" and it wowed most customers. Problem is, when you look at the sauce's listed ingredients, there are loads of artificial flavorings and ingredients. Aaron, will you accept our request to invent an equally flavorful AND HEALTHIER sauce and teach and show us how to make it?
this guy is such a gem!!! who uploads a one hour cooking video and absolutely kills it

Half of USA is frozen. This guy offers recipes to reheat the population and add some flavor. Not a bad deal.

ty for the recipes (p.s. love that u sound like speedy gonzalez)
Thank you. I will try some of those recipes. Im still hesitant about the fish sauce and the hot chlil paste. Lol
I was wary of fish sauce too but it's really good.

Trust me Korean's aren't the only ones who love garlic! Italian's are obsessed too!!!!
Yummy😊
Could you please tell us while you are cooking, what part of lamb or beef,we could use instead of pork

Can the beef stock be swapped with dashi instead?
