Sora's counters are so insane, his ability to turn any projectile into his own is downright terrifying when used like this
Like seriously, 0% hero with a single counter???
The only downside is that he doesn't hit the projectile back to the sender

Man, Cloud is like the only Square-Enix Character that doesnt have a counter. Not that its a bad thing, he makes up for it at least. Hero maybe but they also makes up for it with the bounce for projectiles.

remember sora's counter isn't just a counter it's a reflect as well (got some funny kills with it too in multiplayer)

I wouldn’t call it a reflect, necessarily. It just turns someone else’s projectile into Sora’s projectile while it travels.
Fun fact: unless there’s another character that I haven’t tried Sora’s counter is the only one that can actually damage and send Banjo and Kazooie’s wonder wing
Yes because Sora’s counter has a special effect that no matter what, the enemy gets put into a stumble state
Doesn't Mii Swordfighter's counter have the same flinch effect? And Brawler's can also beat Wonderwing since it's a grab.
Edit: tested myself. Swordfighter's doesn't beat Wonderwing, but Brawler's definitely does.

I can't speak for Hero, but since Cloud is based on the OG FF7(and possibly a little bit of his KH1 combat cameo), he canonliy doesn't have a counter. I believe he had a "guard" though if I recall (it's been a long time since I played lol).
Technically, Hero has bounce.
And Kamikaze is fun to use when an opponent is attacking (and then you both go "oh shit") but it's not a counter...

Sora and King K Rool are the only characters who can counter and reflect at the same time. Joker & Palutena can only do one or the other a time and Mii Swordfighter has to choose one
Doesnt palutena detect if it is a proyectile or a attack? Bc then it reflects boths, but with a different animation
